PRISON OF LOVE OR HATE???

I don’t have any friends left

You made sure I wont ever leave the nest

You took it all away

Just so you could have your way.

No matter how hard I try

All you do is give me a war cry

You keep pushing me around

Harder & harder till there aint no ground

Fall I do but I refuse to crawl

Blocking out all the cusses you lovingly drawl

I walk away not wanting to start another brawl

Yanking my hair you haul me up

Just so you could maul me up

Need to pick up some make up to doll me up

The bruises covered I head to the cruise all glammed up

Even from a distance I can sense you are miffed

Probably wondering when did we last kissed

But looking up, all I see in your eyes is mock

And an evil smirk that says I will never leave the dock

Every time you get an itch

You call me a (your) bitch

Yet stay on the pitch

Coz you like being hitched

Then you decide you’d rather be rich

And I’m the one who gets ditched

You still wont let me go

Cause I’m your fall-back

Thinking me an ungrateful hoe

Who should know better than to refuse to crawl back

All I wanna do is run a mile

Where my throat wont close up with bile

So I wont have to listen to your words vile

Nor see your venomous smile

There’s no escape for a bird tied to a cage

Its key cant be found even if I rage

I stare at the sky longingly, in a daze

With each passing day my vision blurs, leaving me in a haze.
