Chapter 5

-Levi's POV-

I didn't know why I thought it was a good idea, but the date was planned and it was going to happen. I actually kind of wanted to make this into a legit place. I had the materials so why not try? I went through my yard and into our shed, which I hoped to contain everything I needed.  I decided I was gonna replace all the wood, use an old door we had, and I even found an old carpet I could place on the ground. I grabbed all of my tools, put everything in the car and headed into the woods to build the coolest fucking fort any one has ever seen.

After managing to carry everything through the path leading to the fort I started to clear out all the plants, sticks and leaves blocking the way. Lucky enough there were 4 trees in this area that made about a 13 x 12 space to truly build this fort. Although small it was still a space. I drilled each 14 ft long plank of wood into two trees creating a wall when I realized I had used my entire supply going to need a hell of a lot more wood. I took a trip to Home Depot and came back.

By now I had finished 3 of the 4 walls and it was around 5 p.m. which meant I still had a lot of daytime to spare. I focused on making a door frame for the 4th wall. I drilled all the rest of the wood planks horizontally to the trees creating the fourth wall and then began to cut space for the door. I then cut the dusty old carpet to the correct size and laid it down on the ground. This was cool and I was proud of myself. I had made a room, with no roof, but still a room for me and Eren to have a fun date outside the eyes of the public. I drove home and walked inside around 8 p.m. Fuck, I forgot it was Sunday and I had a lot of homework to do.

"Levi, where have you been all evening?" My mother asked as I slipped of my shoes.

"I fixed up that old fort I made back when I was younger. I was hoping to use it again." No point in telling her why though.

"Ah I see is there some special girl you're planning to bring there?" My father chimed in. Tch. As if.

"Uh yeah something like that." I walked into the kitchen grabbed some food and headed off to my room.

~time skip~

It was now Tuesday morning and I was about to head to Hanji's to go to school.  I filled her in  on the plans for this date and low and behold, she went batshit crazy and fangirled like I've never seen before.

"OH MY GOD LEEVVVIIII! YOURE SO ROMANTIC OH MY GOD EREN IS GOING TO LOVE THIS!!!! I CANT EVEN. UGH."

She basically said stuff like that squealing at the top of her lungs all the way to school. At lunch and in the halls Eren and I caught glances at one another. Sometimes looking to see if he was looking at me.

~time skip to Thursday after school~

"LEEVVIIIIIIII!!!!" Sometimes Hanji is such a nuisance.

"Sup."

"Tomorrow is your date with Erreeeeennn!" I think she was way more excited for this than I was.

"I know I know. You wanna come see the fort?"

"Yes!"

We headed to the woods where I had built the fort. She looked up in shock.

"Jesus Levi! Who knew you were such a handy man!"

"Eh." I opened up the door and revealed the inside.

"This is the coolest damn fort I've ever seen." Hell yeah it is. She looked around a bit and after she was done evaluating my work we went home.

~time skip to Friday morning bc I suck at writing and can't think of anything to put in between except for pointless and uneventful dialogue~

I woke up an extra 45 minutes early today. Today was the day I was going on a date. I was more nervous now than I ever had been and I wanted to look extra good. I took a long shower and picked the best clothes I had and made sure my hair was on point. I grabbed a small cooler and made some sandwiches, put in some fruit and snacks for my date with Eren.

-Eren's POV-

Today is my date with Levi. Today is the day I'm getting laid. Hopefully. I got ready and headed to school. I saw Levi and Hanji walking into the main entrance and I couldn't help but blush.

"EEERRREEEEENNN!" I could recognize Hanji's loud voice anytime.

"Hey Hanji, hey Levi." I waved hello as I walked to where they were standing. I could tell Levi was anxious when I was walking over. The second we made eye contact he turned deep red and looked down. God he was so cute.
We all made small talk before heading to class and I prepared to suffer through this painfully long day.

~Levi's POV~

"Ackerman up here." The teacher hit his hand on the table calling me to attention. I looked up but zoned out once again. I was really excited and I couldn't find a way to get my nerves out. I looked at the clock. Only second hour? You've got to be fucking kidding me it feels like I've been here for ages.

~time skip to lunch~

I sat down with Hanji at my normal table and began to eat. I watched Eren talk with all his friends sitting together at the table. He was Eren Jaeger. Everybody knew him and I get to go on a date with him. I still couldn't believe it. Someone at the table made a joke and Eren smiled big and laughed. He was so adorable.

"Leevviiii what ya looking at over there bud?" Erwin said.

"Uh nothing just zoned out." I went back to eating and Hanji playfully punched me trying to make me embarrassed because she knew I was looking at Eren. Eventually lunch ended and now there were only two more agonizing hours to sit through.

~time skip to end of school~

The final bell rang and I was on my way to go get Eren. I walked out of school and there he was. Waiting right where he said he'd be.

"Ready for our date?"
