Chapter 12

-Levi's POV-

The amount of stares I'm getting is kind of amazing, I don't think some of these kids even knew I existed till today. I haven't really gotten an immense amount of 'faggot' aimed at me, which is good, but I can't say the same for Eren and his friends. This has been the longest day of my life. Like the whole world just got flipped, turned upside down (aye fresh princeeeeeee). I can't believe our first date was just on Friday, just like 4 days ago. We've been together less than a week and we've made this huge issue into a 'war' or mock war should I call it, in our school. Just imagine if this got big enough to be on the local news or something. 'So Levi, how did this whole thing start?' 'Oh well you know, my boyfriend and I were just being horny, reckless teenagers. That's all.'

I felt Petra tap on my shoulder bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Hey Levi! So um, I'm in the second lunch and we didn't really get to have lunch because the fire alarms were pulled and apparently a A LOT happened. So I'm just wondering what's all this?"

She then held up her phone showing me a video on YouTube, of us. Eren and I getting up on the table, him screaming and then us kissing. Then it cut to in the middle of the food fight and then a few seconds later Eren and I started making out, and then Jean and Marco as well. Then the fire alarms went off and the short video was over. Of course. How could someone not record it? It's 2017 after all. I didn't even think about this.

"Petra can I look at this a bit?"

"Sure go ahead."

I grabbed her phone and scrolled down. The video was uploaded just about 15 minutes ago. It was already at about 150 views, probably some of the kids from school. But by the time I get home, the whole school will start tweeting about it, they'll create hashtags, they'll post stuff about it on Instagram. Although it's a small town it's a big catholic high school. I think there is around 2,400 students or something. I mean this place is huge. Since it's big, stuff will get around, and it is the internet so who knows, this could go viral. It could get millions and millions of views. The possibilities with this are endless. And it's still just the first day. I bet if I opened up Snapchat right now this stuff would already be all over everyone's stories. Oh shit. The school probably sent e-mails or something like that. I bet our parents will know by the time we get home, and this probably wasn't how Marco, and Jean wanted to come out to their parents if they haven't already, and not how I planned to come out to my mom. I bet the parents will go crazy after this. It's understandable that there are a lot of students that support gay rights because we are millennials, and you know that sorta stuff. But most of these parents are I guess what you would say, 'stereotypically southern'. Well, we do live in Texas that is.

(Quick A/N: I am not completely basing the reactions based on what I believe is true about people in Texas or 'the south'. I have a very close friend who goes to a catholic school in Texas, which is basically what I'm basing this school off of, and a lot of what I write about what people say, is how she tells me people would actually react, or have reacted in a similar manner in her school. Now nothing like this has happened in her school, but she says there are openly gay kids in her school that receive a whole lot of backlash like this, and are treated similar to how Eren is treated in this story. What I say about the people in this town, and the students is based off of the input I get from my friend when I ask her about stuff like this. I also based the schedule, like the prayer stuff, based on what she does at school as well.)

Anyways, I gave Petra her phone back and tried to give her the best summary of what happened.

"So like, that thing you were talking about this morning, the whole Eren rumor thing? Yeah well, I'm the guy in the closet, Eren is gay and so am I for that matter. He made a really bold move and decided he was gonna try to start a war in the school, and I was like that's dope and so yeah. Now I guess you better get ready because this place is probably going to turn into shit soon"
