The Righteous Wandolier Contradicts Hades

The Reconciliation

Knowing that Hades' guards were right on their backs, August, Amy, and Buddy, hurriedly searched for Demeter who hadn't moved from the place she had been before, and poured out their discoveries to her all at once. Demeter was overwhelmingly joyful and furious at the same time. Who could blame her? Her own brother has caused her all that pain from a single, little, cheat.

Demeter immediately summoned her daughter and Zeus so loud that many other gods came too. Demeter and the Sims explained everything to Zeus who was impressed by the "unique" humans' deeds.

"So what exactly was your purpose of risking your lives to find out Hades' secret?" Zeus indifferently questioned the Sims."

"Just as spring wears into summer, we wanted a new season to wear into winter," August said with determination.

Zeus thought about the request for a second and decided that it was actually reasonable. So he sent the messenger, Hermes, down to the underworld to re-negotiate their previous compromise, but Hades stubbornly refused.

After hearing what sounded like a stampede of whines from various gods and people, coupled with a few harsh threats from his brother, Zeus, Hades finally gave in and agreed to change the compromise. Since Persephone actually ate only three pomegranate seeds and three craisins, in which even though weren't made in the underworld were still eaten there, Hades suggested that she still stay for six months, but during the first three months, she could leave whenever she wanted--as long as she was back by night.

Everyone agreed, and the decision was officially confirmed by Zeus. It didn't take long for King Roland to hear the news, and he was extremely pleased with August's attempt to help the humans, and Amy and Buddy's helping him do so. As a reward, the king had a chat with Demeter requesting that when she started to get sad during the first three months of her daughter's leaving, and the trees' leaves got ready to fall, their colors should turn brown, red, and orange--the colors of the three wandoliers' wands. Demeter went with the request and the season was named after August: Autumn, or for short: Fall, because that's what the leaves and weather did anytime it got closer to Demeter losing her daughter again.

The people of the normal world finally had a mild introduction to the cold season of winter, and the Sims became famous and well-known in both worlds for their accomplishment. When August, Buddy, and Amy returned to My Sims Kingdom, King Roland hosted a huge cupcake party for them... and they all lived happily ever after.
