Chapter 14- Comforts

As soon as I got home with Harry my mum came running over and pulled me into a hug, I could tell she was crying by the muffled sobbing I could hear against my shoulder. She pulled away and took my face in-between her hands.

“Daisy, Daisy-“I cut her off and just nodded, I didn’t want to think about it anymore today. Over her shoulder I could see the rest of the boys watching, they all had concerned expressions on their faces as they took the whole scene in.

“Mum, I know. I’m sorry I vanished and didn’t tell you, I – I just needed some time alone” I said and she just nodded, her mascara was smudged under her eyes as she wiped stray tears away.

“It’s alright, I understand. Why don’t you go to bed and rest?” she asked and I just nodded. I felt physically and emotionally drained and I just needed to lie down.

“Only on one condition, all the boys have a sleepover” I needed a distraction and they were my perfect distraction, she looked at Harry then the others and just nodded rolling her eyes. I grinned slightly as she warned us about no funny business.

Harry took my hand as we walked upstairs to my room, the others following behind, they started to walk to their separate rooms but I quickly stopped them.

“What part of sleepover don’t you understand? You’re all staying in my room tonight” They all looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders and nodding, I saw Louis grin and wiggle his eyebrows from the corner of my eye; I thought he was going to crack a joke but Liam nudged him so he never spoke. They all piled into my room and sat in random places, Liam was sat on my desk chair, Zayn and Louis were sat on a beanbag looking like one of them was going to fall off because it was slightly too small for the both of them, Niall was sat on the floor leaning against my bed and Harry pulled me next to him so we were both sitting on my bed, his arms wrapped around me as I leaned against him.

There was a silence that lasted a few minutes; I think everyone was just wrapping their thoughts together. Zayn was the first to move, he got up from the beanbag and walked over to me wrapping his arms around me for a hug, soon enough Harry’s arm wrapped around me. One minute later and five boys had their arms around me in a group hug, I didn’t feel alone, I felt loved. By being there with me I felt comforted and a smile broke onto my face. As they all broke away from the hug I saw how all they’re emotions had changed, they no longer looked troubled or upset, they were normal again. Sure you could tell it was still slightly there but they hid it.

“Okay who’s ready for the swag master from Doncaster to strip?” Louis said grinning, I looked at the others who all smirked in amusement, and I think I was the only one slightly concerned by the word strip. Before I could even ask his stripy white and blue top was thrown on the floor and his trousers round his ankles. Harry stood up next and did the same, throwing his top on the floor and trousers by his feet.  The rest of them soon followed so I had five hot teenage boys stood half naked in just their boxers in my room, I was probably the envy of so many girls right now. I didn’t say anything I just sat there in shock not really knowing what to do, I tried to avoid looking at Harry’s chest although it was pretty difficult.

“Now we’re ready for bed” Louis said and I rolled my eyes, I stood up and told them I’d be back in a minute. I grabbed my pyjamas and walked into the bathroom; I quickly changed, brushed my hair and teeth and threw some cold water over my face to refresh me. I glanced in the mirror and walked back into my room, all five boys still in just their boxers were flipping through a book, my eyes went wide as I realized what it was.

“Guys! Put the photo album down now and nobody gets hurt!” I said edging towards them, I felt Harry’s eyes drift over to me and I knew he had a smirk plastered across his face.
