chapter 5

Winter's POV

I wake up in my bunk and I hear whispers and I look at my phone and I see its the first day of winter, omg its my birthday! Well no shit that's why I'm called winter, god I'm a doofus, and I get up and I stretch and I go to my bag and I get out some white shorts and an oversized grey hoodie and I get changed and I put my piercings in and I dye my hair a nice brown color

And I go into the living room and everything's dark and I turn on the lights and that's when "SUPRISE!" Everyone jumps out and screams and I scream and I fall on my ass and all the guys laugh and Zack helps me up "thanks" I say and he nods and I walk to dad "you look nice, the color really suits you winter" he says and I smile "thanks dad" I say and he kisses my head "happy sweet 15th kiddo" rian says and I smile "OK TIME FOR PRESENTS!" Jack screams and pushes me on the mini couch and they bring out a cluster fuck if gifts and my eyes widen "guys, you didn't have to get me anything" I say and they all hug me and I smile and hug back "yes we did, your our family now so you get an awesome birthday" jack says and I smile and they all pull away and I open everything and I smile at how much clothes, jewrly and snapbacks and beanies I get from dad, the guys as well as other bands like sleeping with sirens and MCR and I hug my dad and the guys "thank you" I say and they all smile "you have one more, and this one especially from me" dad says and I nod "close your eyes" he says and I nod and I close my eyes until he puts something on my lap and I open my eyes when it licks me and I come face to face with a little lab puppy

and my eyes widen and I squeal and I hug the Lil thing and it barks and I giggle "is it a boy or a girl?" I ask happily "I hope you dont mind, but he's a boy" dad says and I smile and I put him on the couch and I stand up and I hug my dad tight and he hugs back "thank you so much, I love him, he's perfect" I say as he hugs me back and he kisses my head "I'm glad you like him, now what you gonna name him?" He asks as he pulls away and I look at him as he chances his tail and I giggle abd I crouch down "c'mere buddy!" I say and he runs and jumps in my arms and I stand up "buddy it is" I say as he licks my cheek and I giggle and dad puts his hands on my shoulders and I smile "want to hear another surprise?" He asks and I turn "ok" I say "your gonna sing with us in concert!" He exclaims and my eyes widen "OH MY GOD! IM SO EXITED!" I tel and buddy barks and I giggle and I pet his head and dad pulls me into his lap "my baby girls 15!" He says and u smile and I lean into him "guys? Time to go to sleep" jack says and I yawn and so does buddy and I fall asleep on dad and I feel him pick me up

I wake up and I scream and I start to sob and dad runs to my bunk and pulls me out and I sob into him and I cling onto him and buddy jumps out my bunk and comes up to me as I sob "i-it was s-so scary d-dad" I sob "shhhh its ok, winter I'm here" he says and I start to calm down "now, what happened?" He asks softly and I hiccup "I h-had a night t-terror" I say with hiccups "what about baby girl?" He asks "m-my bio d-dad was there a-and so was my m-mom and, h-he-" I started to sob more "he killed her in front of me" I sob and I grip onto him again "shhhh winter it was just a dream, your fine, I'm here and so are the guys" he says softly and I calm down again "c-can you please stay with me?" I ask with hiccups "of course sweet pea" he says and he picks me up and puts buddy next to me and he snuggles I to my side as dad gets in and I immediately grip onto his arm as he gets in and he pulls me I to his chest and he starts to sing for Baltimore but the acoustic version and I fall asleep

I wake up and I feel myself being lifted out my bunk and I open my eyes and I see dad outing me in jacks bunk and I open my eyes fully to see him crying and I immediately get out of dads arms and I jump into jacks bunk and once I get in I pull him into a hug "hey, hey, hey shhhhh jack, its ok" I say softly and he immediately hugs back sobbing quietly into my chest "shhhh, jack its ok, hey, look at me" I say softly and he pulls away and looks at me and I put my hands on his cheeks and I wipe his tears away "its ok, nothing can hurt you, not when I'm around" I say softly and he smiles as tears fall down his face and I smile back and he hugs me and I immediately hug back "you need sleep, so do you want me to stay or go? I'm fine with either" I say softly "c-can you stay?" He asks and "of course" I say and I lay down and I pull him into me and I hug him and after about 20 minutes he finally falls asleep, and I start to sing a little lullaby that my mum used to sing to me

And jack moved a bit then fell back asleep and I smile and kissed his forehead "night jack, I love you" I whisper as I fall asleep
