Louis’ POV

I felt the ring on Harry’s finger, he was right he had kept one promise.

“I just want you to please give me a chance” he whispered.

His lips were close to my ear and I could even hear his breathing as he took, slow deep breaths.

“But Harry…”

“One chance” he interrupted quickly.

I wanted to give him a chance, but he had hurt me so much, he made me feel like he had abandoned and left me.

“You left me, and never gave any sign that you were fine” I mumbled.

His arms slowly wrapped around my waist as he pressed his cheek against mine, resting his chin on my shoulder and keeping his eyes fixed on the clear lake in front of us.

“If you give me just one chance I promise I’ll make it up to you” he whispered.

I sighed, looking down.

“Please” I heard his voice whisper.

“Fine” I murmured.

Vanessa’s POV

After we had helped harry with his surprise for Louis we both headed home.

“Look, I snuck two candles” Niall grinned cheekily at me, holding up two small candles.

“Niall!” I scolded him.

I hit him playfully, shaking my head, before smiling at his cute attempt at romance.

We arrived home, I watched him run off to retrieve the box of matches which were in my room, he came back into the living room, setting down the two candles and a few of the other ones he had snagged from my room.

I had a thing for candles, I loved them. Especially vanilla, it was my favourite.

He neatly spaced them along the coffee table, lighting them with the match he had struck.

He told me to stay on the couch while he ran off to the kitchen. I watched the pretty glow come from the candles, each one igniting a different scent and colour.

“Here, we can feed each other gingerbread”

He sat down next to me with the container of gingerbread, picking one up and positioning it outside my mouth, I leant forward to take a bite, frowning as he pulled back. He grinned devilishly, starting up a game.

Oh it’s on.

--

We did manage to finish the whole container, wrestling around for the last one and finally halving it.

“You’re a monster” I heaved.

We were lying on the floor next to each other, holding hands and staring into eachothers eyes.

“Do you think it’s Christmas yet?” he asked.

“lets check”

I pulled my phone out of my pocket, checking the time.

“11:30” I read.

“half an hour” he grinned.

“No, wait until the suns up” I ushed.

He pouted, sitting up.

“Stand up” he ordered, getting onto his feet.

I obeyed him, being shocked as he picked me up over his shoulder.

“Niall! Where are you taking me?!” I squealed as he roamed around.

I held onto him tightly as he walked into my room, putting me down on the bed and crawling over next to me.

“Hey” he whispered, lying down next to me.

“Hey” I smiled, a blush creeping onto my cheeks.

He pecked my lips sweetly, his hands roaming down to my waist where he pulled me closer, I reached up to his face, tugging slightly at a stray tuft of his hair.

“I love you” he whispered.

“I love you too” I whispered back.

My eyes trailed down to his eyes, oh how I loved his eyes. He smiled cutely as he held his grip on my back, over my shoulder blade.

“Let’s go to sleep” he mumbled.

I nodded, pressing my forehead to his, closing my eyes and knowing that Christmas would be here when I opened them.
