A Championship To Remember ➳ Markson

chapter seven;

It had been an hour or two since the group had arrived back at the dorm. The dorm wasn't eerily silent but it was still very quiet. The main noises of the house were the sound of the TV and multiple en suite showers running. The only members not in their rooms were Mark, Jaebum and Jinyoung. Mark and Jinyoung was sat on the sofa watching whatever was on the TV at the time while Jaebum was preparing a meal for the group. Quite abruptly Jackson walked into the living room and whispered "Can we talk now?" into Mark's ear. Mark nodded and followed him back to their room.

As they both stepped into their room, Jackson immediately slammed the door shut pushing mark against it. Mark was surprised by Jackson's quick movement and because of this just stood there staring into Jackson's eyes, paralysed by the piercing look Jackson was giving him; it's almost like he was considering their future through Mark's eyes. "I can't believe you did what I was afraid of," Jackson sniggered while pulling himself away allowing Mark to freely move off the door. Jackson began walking towards the window but Mark grabbed his hand and linked their fingers together "I'm sorry for abruptly outing us to the world. I was just overwhelmed, excited and happy that I just... lost control". Jackson looked at Mark keeping intense eye contact. This made Mark melt, almost collapsing to the floor before Jackson could catch him. "Mark be more careful. I forgive you," Jackson uttered with a soft chuckle.

Mark and Jackson had been hugging in the middle of their room for around 10 minutes, this was before mark looked up from the comfortable position that his head was in on Jackson's neck. Mark looked at Jackson who was staring at him the whole time. "What do you think will happen now?" Mark mumbled. Jackson opened his mouth to begin talking before Yugyeom busted open the door with a face full of excitement "GUYS, YOU'RE IN THE HEADLINES!" he screamed excitedly.

All the members gathered around the TV in the living room, apart from Jaebum who seemed quite unenthusiastic by the whole thing. Mark was excited but nervous about what will be said. The news reporter begins talking and all the members hush and listen to what the news reporter is saying, "Quite the shocking event happened today at ISACs. A competition where it looks like gay lovers are revealed! At the end of the final event of the day, when Youngjae of GOT7 won a gold medal, it was believed that Mark and Jackson shared a very passionate kiss. It's obvious that these boys are probably in a relationship! So please wish them all the best in their relationship. That's all for today, see you tomorrow on the news!"

Sighs of relief can be heard from Jaebum, Jinyoung and Youngjae while excited squeals can be heard from Bambam and Yugyeom. Meanwhile, Mark and Jackson were quite enjoying basically moulding their faces together in a rather deep make out session in the corner. When Yugyeom looked to the side of him and saw what was happening he jumped out of his seat and screamed, "Get a room boys!". Jackson and Mark fell straight back to earth and realised what happened. They both laughed and started celebrating the overall good view of their relationship with the other members. Jaebum decided to join in this time and went over to the group of boys. His hand was grabbed by Youngjae's and they all cheered very happily expressing their happiness for Mark and Jackson.

A/N - Hey guys, sorry it's been so long. I've had very little time to write this fic and i've been writing this chapter for around 2 weeks lmao. it's quite short because i wanted to get an update out to y'all! i HOPE YOU'RE enjoying the story (sorry for the caps there, cba to re-write that) and look forward to the next chapter! This fanfic is sadly drawing to a close but i hope y'all have enjoyed the ride! :D I haven't asked for this before because i didn't wanna seem thirsty but if you could vote this chapter to show me that you're enjoying the fic that would be great!
