Ophelia was in love with a young man in her grade. His name was Teagan Jones. He is one of the reasons she is still fighting through all of her problems in life. They're best friends. They did everything together. Went to see the latest movies that were in theatre, went out for burgers and vanilla milkshakes, they spent all summer together, most of their free time was spent with each other. But that wasn't enough for Ophelia. She adored him. She adored his company, she loved the way he would speak to her and the way he would laugh at her (not very funny) jokes. But she wanted to know how sweet his tongue tasted. She wanted to know how his perfect lips would feel pressed up against her skin. They tell each other everything. But Ophelia was holding this secret back. She didn't want to ruin their friendship of nine years. She made a list of pros and cons of telling Teagan how she felt about him.

Pros:

•We could live happily ever after

•Get married

•Have kids

•Own a house

•Travel

Cons:

•He could reject me

•Ruin our friendship

•Lose all contact with him

There were a lot of pros that she didn't even realize until she wrote them down into her pink studded journal. Maybe telling him wouldn't be as hard as she thought it would be. Of course she was nervous and jittery. But she was also happy and excited. This could change everything. She just couldn't get him off of her mind. He was the first thing she thought of when she woke up in the morning and the last thing she thought of when she went to bed at night.

Her phone was always in her back pocket, or if she was wearing leggings it would be in her bra. Teagan would always text her. Even when she was about to text him first, he always beat her to it, which wasn't a bad thing.

Walking to the bathroom, pulling out her phone from her jean pocket, she unlocks her phone and pulls up contacts. Teagan's name is at the top of the list. Though she didn't have many numbers in her phone as Teagan was her first priority. She touches her thumb to the keyboard and starts to type.

"Hey Teagan, we need to talk about something pretty serious. Nothing bad, It's just important" she presses send. A billion things run through her mind. Mostly the words "shit, shit, shit!" She was jumping up and down, literally. Like a five year old who just had one too many pieces of candy. What would he respond with? A smiley face? A wink would be a bonus!
