The first time I enter my new school, my jaw drops. This place is huge! I think to myself, did I walk into the wrong school or... before I can even finish my thought, I'm pushed to the ground. I quickly look up to see who just shoved me. It's a tall girl wearing white converse, a short pink skirt with a white tee shirt tucked into it, and big black glasses that I realize are fake, because they don't have any lenses. Her hair is brown with blonde highlights. It looks wavy, but it's hard to tell, because it's pulled up in a messy bun.
"Are you new here?" She says in a snobby tone. You can tell she gets what she wants. "Um...." I say "yeah, actually I am new here. It's my first day and I was wondering if you could tell me where I pick up my schedule." I stand up. She rolls her eyes and says " No." then pushes me aside and walks down the hall.
"Hey, Fi!" I turn and see Victor walking in threw the main entrance. "Hi." I say unenthusiastically. He must have noticed because next he says "Why so sad?" "What?" I practically shout " I'm not sad!" "Okay, chill. So who were those girls?" He asks. I say "Oh them, no one!" and quickly change the subject. "What took you so long to get in here?" "Gram called." He says. Gram is our nickname for our grandma Nancy. "She's just wondering what's up."
The five minute bell rings and victor and I say bye, then I walk to my locker to put away unneeded books. I see those girls again so I turn the other direction and run to class.

The lunch bell finally rings after fourth period. I swing my backpack strap onto my shoulder and leave math. I'm planning on sitting with my brother, but when I get to the lunchroom and finally find him, he's got friends all around. How does Victor already have friends? Does he know these people? I ask myself. Then I see something familiar out of the corner of my eye. It's that mean girl's pink skirt! I quickly turn around and end up sitting at a random table."Hey!" a girl with long red hair says "what's your name?" I look at her for awhile and then say "Hi I'm Fiona, I'm new here." She looks at the boy sitting next to her and then back at me "We know. Everybody knows everybody at this school, and we don't know you." I check to see if that mean girl is still approaching me, and to my luck, she wasn't. The red haired girl says "If you're looking out for Brittany and Katie, don't worry, they only pick on you if you try to talk to them, or get in their way." Those must be the two girls, Brittany and Katie. " I'm Sarah" she says.
For the rest of lunch Sarah and I talked and laughed and I didn't even see Brittany and Katie for the rest of the day. Sarah said it was because they were too scared to approach me again. Chad, Sarah's friend, said they were ditching school. I didn't really care about why they didn't come near me again, I was just glad they didn't.
