It kinda hurts, ya know.
To care about someone so much,
And think they care too.
Then sooner or later,
They drift away.
To have these weird feelings;
That isn't love at all.
To be connect with someone,
Then loose that connection.
It hurts to see someone as a leaf on a tree,
Then they break off and drift away with the wind,
Never to return again.
It hurts to think that you'll be besties for life,
But then,
Suddenly, they don't even text back or talk to you.
They feel cooler to be around the cool kids
And act as if you were never apart of their life.
It hurts to only get a hi and nothing else.
It hurts to know that at one point in life,
Hurting them hurt you too.
You shake in your room, wondering,
What did I ever do wrong?
And you're about to give up and loose all hope.
You start crying and crying;
The tears a never ending waterfall.
You tell yourself that you drove them away.
That you are a bitch,
Or you were annoying,
Or that you were too clingy.
You loose yourself esteem all because of one person.
It hurts.
It just hurts to think that you did something to make them hate you enough to ignore you.
