Chapter 1

A'Zari POV

Today is the day that I move back out to Cali to be with my old fam and my best friend . I just hope she ain't moved . Let's get this day started . Ugh !

Tameka comes into A'Zari's half empty room breaking her out of her thoughts . "Hey Ari, you ok ?"

"Yes ma , I'm fine I'm just thinking about whether Zay'Lah still at the same school or not . Oh and ma , I wanna tell my friends here bye to , but they at school." A'Zari said looking disappointed and flopping down on the chair that was in the middle of her room .

"Well let's go to school and call them to the office to tell them Ari , there is always a way honey." Tameka spoke smirking at A'Zari who was looking at her intently .

After gathering their belongings , they went off to ask Ava and Xavier if they would like to tell their friends at the school bye , and told their daddy, Zorian, they was leaving .

They traveled 45 minutes to reach their school . The three of them got out the car waiting on their mom to follow them . They entered the building and the lady at the front desk looked everyone up and down, but eyeballed Xavier .

"Um, hi how are you today?" The lady at the desk asked with an attitude rolling her eyes . Making Tameka scrunch up her face.

"Uh yes , could you call a couple of people down to the front office please ?" Tameka replied trying to redeem herself to keep from fighting this lady.

"Who ?" The lady rudely asked while eyeing Xavier still .

"Ma'Kayla Johnson , A'lerah Baker , Trenton Stone, and Aliyah Phillips please ?" A'Zari asked looking at the lady who still had her eyes on Xavier . 

The lady called all of the students named by A'Zari to the office and asked them to be seated in the conference room .

"Aye tho , can you call Tray , Justin , and Ole girl Kendra down?" Xavier said licking his lips making the lady smile and his mama look at the both of them crazy .

She began to call the students down without Xavier telling her the last names and Tameka became more suspicious and angry .

"Who you want me to call down?" The lady asked with the same smile on her face from when Xavier spoke .

"Ahnia  Stone , Amyah Johnson, Jhaniya Stone , and Shania Stone ." Ava spoke to the lady . Jhaniya , Ahnia , and Shania were Trenton's sisters , who was all triplets .

All the students were all called into separate rooms and A'Zari , Ava , and Xavier all went into the separate conference rooms and Tameka call the lady to the side to speak with her .

"Hey can I speak to you for a moment?" Tameka spoke looking at the lady with a fake smile on her face .

"Sure." The lady replied rolling her eyes a little .

"So what is it with you and Xavier ? What about him made you change your mind and start smiling ? Why he didn't have to give last names for you to know who he was talking about?" Tameka asked folding her arms across her chest .

"Oh Xavier . Lord . That boy , has some power." The lady said smiling and thinking about him.

"Excuse my language , but what the hell do you mean he has some power?" Tameka spoke trying to remain calm.

"I don't know who you are. Are you his mom or just a friend?" The lady spoke softly leaning closer to Tameka.

Tameka played smart and lied to the lady. "Honey, I'm his sister friend. Now what do you mean he has some power?" Tameka asked excitingly.
