Chapter 3

Zay'Lah had just arrived to her house when she seen an all black Dodge Charger sitting towards the end of the road . She got to her driveway and turned her car off . She looked in the mirror and noticed that it was now parked right behind her driveway .

She locked her doors and called A'Zari . Then before you know it , someone is standing by her window . She calls the police and just then , A'Zari pulls up . The person runs away .

"Girl who tf was that ?" A'Zari asked running up to Zay'Lah with her taser in her hand .

"I don't even know , but the police in their way . I'm not staying her tonight . I'm going to a hotel or some ." Zay'Lah said frantically

"No hell, you can sleep in my bed or on the couch. You not going to a hotel Zay." A'Zari said looking at Zay'Lah like she was crazy .

The police arrived and walks up to where A'Zari and Zay'Lah are standing .

"So what's going on ladies?" Officer asks

"I just turned down my street and I seen a blacked out Dodge Charger sitting at the end of the road almost . It didn't have anything to do with me . I'm thinking maybe they're at someone house , so I pull in my drive way . I sit here and then I look in my mirror and see they are parked outside of my drive way now . So I call my best friend A'Zari and by that time , the person was standing outside my window . I called you all then and when Zari came , they ran away from the car and drive off." Zay'Lah spoke nervously.

"I'm going to make a report of that and be on the look out for that vehicle . I recommend that you don't stay here for tonight . Be safe young lady ." The officer said while writing notes down and walking away .

Zay'Lah goes in the house with A'Zari close behind her. Zay'Lah gets things she will need to spend the rest of the week with A'Zari .

They arrive to A'Zari house and they tell A'Zari parents what went on. Zay'Lah call her mama and tell her what happened also.

The next morning , it's Saturday , they wake up around 10:15 am . Ava walks into A'Zari's room and sees Zay'Lah , so she asks why was she there and what's going on . They tell her the story and that makes Ava mad , so she go her car keys and tries to leave , but is stopped by Xzavier .

"Where you going Ava?" Xavier asked grabbing Ava by her arm causing her to catch another attitude .

"Mfs keep fucking with Zay'Lah and I'm tired of it. I'm going to her house." Ava said smartly trying to go again .

"Man sitcho lil ass down girl." Xavier said pulling her back into A'Zari's room .

"Y'all both chill. I'm straight. But what we doing later cause twin them wanna chill with us." Zay'Lah said smirking at Xavier and Ava .

"Ayeeeee double Trouble , I miss them , anyways wtf they at?" Ava said getting up to twerk .

"Sit down girl." Xavier said mugging her . He hate when his sisters dance .

"Yeah where my babies at?" A'Zari said looking confused .

"They still go to the school with us, but they asses was mad at me and said they not riding home with me. They could have lived with me and all, but they wanna have attitudes . Now mama and daddy them won't let them move in." Zay'Lah said rolling her eyes .

"That's kinda fucked up, but Khi'Yani my baby tho." Xavier said smirking .

"Man she got a whole nigga, I believe her ass pregnant too, but I ain't said nothing about it tho." Zay'Lah said shaking her head.
