I prayed and prayed.

"Mr.August you may see him now" the doctor said.
I stood up and walked to Jacobs room.
Once I entered he gave me a tired smile.
I grabbed his hand and kissed it.

my eyes watered and the hot tears flew out my eyes.
"I Love You" he said squeezing my hand tighter.

I kissed him.
This is the last time I'll feel these lips against mine.
We are ment to be together sadly our journey must end.
He taught me how to love.

His eyes closed and he smiled.

With that a long beep from the monitor went off.
I ran my fingers through his beautiful curls.
I pecked his lips for the last time.
I looked at OUR daughter and watched her sleep.
Her little chest went up and down as she breathed.
