"I thought you didn't want me there?" I was the first to break the awkward silence in Noah's car. It was only the two of us, I'm guessing our friends all went in Harley's car, seeing as he has the biggest out of all of them. Noah had been driving for about 15 minutes and the roads were starting to become unfamiliar to me.

"I didn't." Was all he said, not letting his eyes leave the dark road.

I sighed, "Then just take me home Noah, I'm not up for an awkward night, knowing I'm there to watch you when you don't want even want me there, I'd much be rather at home, trust me" I rolled my eyes, getting more and more pissed off at him as he once again let the car fall into silence, but still made no effort to take me home.

"Stop ignoring me, Noah!" I raised my voice, and I saw him jump a little, obviously not expecting me to be so worked up.

He sighed, his grip on the steering wheel tightening, "I'll pull over in a minute, alright?"

I just nodded, and sure enough, before a minute had even passed, we were in an empty car park looking over onto our small town.

Noah turned to look at me as I continued to look out of the window at the amazing view.

"I come here before all my fights. It was my father's favourite spot when he was a teenager." His voice was quiet and almost sounded vulnerable. I didn't know a lot about Noah's personal life, but I do know that his father died a couple years ago, he had taken about a month off from school when it happened.

"I've never brought anyone here before." He added. My heart fluttered at his words, does this mean I'm special or was I just in the way?

"You can go do whatever you normally do when you come here, I'll sit and wait." I didn't like feeling like I was in the way.

"You're not an inconvenience to me Luna, It's nice to have company here for a change, I usually just sit in silence, thinking about stuff," I turned to him for the first time since we stopped, and I caught eyes with him immediately.

"I need you to promise me something, Princesa."

"That depends on what it is," I grinned at him jokingly, knowing the last time I said I'd make a promise with someone before knowing what the promise was, I wound up in a chicken suit for someone's little cousins birthday.

"I need you to promise you won't hate me after this fight," He sounded vulnerable again.

"Noah, I- is that why you didn't want me to come? You thought I'd hate you for doing something you love?"

Even in the dimly lit car, I could see his cheeks turn pink and his eyes make a desperate attempt to avoid mine.

I couldn't help but want to hug him and tell him I'm going nowhere, and even though this seemed extremely romantic and relationshippy, I didn't mind, not in the slightest.

I did decide to hug him, but I bit my tongue and kept the words to myself. I carefully leant over the middle of the car and side hugged him slightly, my face at the side of his neck and one of my arms around the back of his neck and the other around his torso. His body tensed at first, but he slowly eased a little, moving his seat back and pulling me over completely.

"Is it just me or does this feel like we've been a couple for years?" He chucked and he positioned me so my back was against the window on his side and my legs were over towards the passenger seat.

"It does, but I'm not complaining." I grinned and then laughed. It felt good not to be scared of what I was saying like I had been in previous relationships. I was always scared to say the wrong thing and mess everything up, and I was scared to be myself, and although Noah and I are nothing close to being in a relationship, it was a lot easier being around him because he already knew every side to me, and there was no pretending.
