"We should all stay at yours tonight man!" Harley suggested, gripping onto Noah's shoulders.
"Aw yeah, that'd be fun, we could stay in your tree house!!" Willow's voice became a lot more high pitched than usual as she got excited at the thought of being in a tree house. She's clearly on a sugar high from the banana split she just ate.
"I mean yeah sure, but none of you are staying in the tree house" He playfully scolded, reaching out to hold my arm and pull me towards his car. "See ya's in a bit" He shouted before the doors of Harley's car were closed over.
"You want to drive?"
"What?" I choked on the strawberry milkshake I had in my mouth, Noah was right. The strawberry milkshake was amazing, this is my second one tonight.
"I asked you if you want to drive, I want to be the one who gets to check you out for 20 minutes straight, see how you like someone's eyes constantly on you while you try and concentrate." He teased, a smirk appearing on his face. I could feel my cheeks heat up even under the cool weather. "Awww, don't blush baby, it's okay, If I were you, I'd check me out too." My knees went weak, baby.
I managed to roll my eyes at him and pull the passenger's side door open, "No, I'd much rather sit here and do nothing."
"You mean to say that you'd rather sit there and check me out," His smirk was only growing.
I only huffed in fake annoyance and then pulled my seatbelt over me, making sure to be extra and emphasise it so he'd see. Petty is my middle name.
I'm glad he turned the radio on when he got in the car, filling up the silence and stopping me from trying to think of something to say so it's not as awkward. It's always awkward when both of us are quiet, I feel as if my deepest, darkest sexual fantasies have been put on show and he can't look at me. Don't ask.
The drive to Noah's house was only about 15 minutes and considering he didn't speed once and the strange amount of traffic that was around for 11 pm, I'd say that's pretty good.
"I didn't ask, do you want to go home? Because I can-" Noah started the car again after stopping it in his driveway, but I cut him off "Noah, it's fine unless you don't want-"
"Stop that. Stop assuming I don't want to you to be places that I am, you're not actually that bad, it's pretty nice to have someone that isn't obsessed with the twins," He chuckled, cutting me off. It looks like we both have a problem with not letting each other speak.
"You can say that again, all the twins talk about is your twins," I rolled my eyes and stepped out of Noah's car. It was just then I realised how cold it actually is, even with the knee high socks, which really have been nothing but an inconvenience as I've been insecure about them falling down or looking uneven all night.
"My twins? Princesa, I beg you not to call them my twins, I'd rather cut my balls off than have them be 'my twins'" He joked.
"Well, they are your twins, just like Freya and Willow are mines." I laughed before realised he was right, calling them our twins stresses me out. "Wait you're right, they aren't my twins either," I laughed, an unfiltered, horrible, inhumane laugh. My eyes widened and I slapped my hands over my mouth, watching as Noah turned to look at me with his eyebrows raised.
"What the hell was that?" Amusement no covering his features, "Was that you laughing?" He started to clutch his stomach as he bent over laughing. Of course, he has a perfect laugh.
"I don't normally laugh like that I promise." I started to laugh again, this time normally. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. Why the hell would I let myself do that when I'm alone with Noah in Noah's house?
