I.
Love is stronger than anger,
But regret is the only thing it cannot conquer.
Thinking about the things that could've happened,
If that one lie wasn't spoken.
II.
I truly believe that everything happens for a reason.
Though the reason created a division.
Between us and the love we created and nourished,
But didn't got the chance to flourish.
III.
When I told you I'm thankful to you, I wasn't lying.
You made me feel things I thought I wasn't capable of feeling.
Made me hope in things that are so uncertain,
They made me cry and taught me lessons that left me broken.
IV.
You broke me and it's okay.
Even though smiling became my leeway.
I guess my love for you is stronger, than the pain I'm feeling.
But I can feel the ending of our story coming.
V.
I miss the way we used to be.
Yes, I want to relive those memories of you and me.
But I know it'll never be the same,
In this love that started with a game.
VI.
We had a once upon a time,
Our love was more precious than a dime.
It was supposed to be a happy ending,
But instead it left us broken and sobbing.
