I put my acceptance letter down on my desk, before smiling at the kitten who jumped on it. "Guess what Analise..." I leaned in to her face. "I did it."

It's been 2 years since I left the small town of Bensville. It was exactly one month after the incident occured. My parents were on airplane to meet my grandmother, who was working in Japan at the time. They had planned for months to make their biggest bussiness move and unfortunetly, they were caught in a plane crash. The plane crash dropped onto the middle of the ocean, never to find their bodies. My grandmother died a few weeks later, out of grief, leaving me to fend for myself.

However, I did have a few perks. My family had life insurance, giving me the empire when I would turn 21 and 2 million dollars for each family member deceased. I'm 20 years old and have been studying the space for the sake of my family's name. I won't let their bussiness, they built with devotion and love, go down to waste.

The white persian kitten kissed my nose and snuggled against me. I tilted my head to the side, taking a glimpse at my digital clock. "It's almost lunch time." I mumbled to myself. I stood up to the hangers and grabbed an oversized beige coat. "I'll be back Analise." Petting her head and walking out of my loft.
