Chapter 6

**Ashley's pov**

It's been 3 weeks since the party. I don't know why but ever since then, Blake and Shawn have been fighting non stop. Every time they are in the same room they fight or if Shawn steps in to the room Blake leaves and the other way around. I don't know what made them Hate each other so much.

"Hey Ashley." Blake walkes into my room and falls on my bed.

"Hey, so how was it?" I ask smiling at her. Blake met this really cute guy and they went for coffee at Starbucks.

"He's so cute, a real gentleman and he's hot." She said dreamily.
"We're going to the movies tonight, and he's bringing a friend. You wanna go?" She asked.
Before I could answer Shawn burst into the room.

This is not going to end well.

"You're not going!" He stated. Crossing his arms over his chest.

"I wasn't asking for permission, Shawn.!" Blake said crossing her arms over her chest copying him.

"You're not going, Blake and thats final!" He says angrily.

AND THERE AT IT AGAIN!

"Who gave you the right to tell me what I can and can't do Shawn!?" Blake yells furiously. Her eyes are a stormy grey.

"I'm you're Alpha!" Shawn's voice booms through the room making me cringe but Blake's standing strong. "Do you even know this,this...."

"But out Shawn, you may be Alpha but this has nothing to do with you." Blake's eyes are now black and to tell you the truth, she's scaring me.

"I'm you're mate Blake, this has everything to do with me!" Shawn eyes are now glowing. Man he's mad. WAIT WHAT!!!

Blake's face fell and all emotion that's left on her face is sadness.

"No Shawn , you lost the right to tell me what i can and can't do the day you told me that you don't want me and to block the stupid bond." She says anger and pain visible in her eyes, walking out the room slamming the door.

"Wait What! You're mate's? And you rejected her?" I asked shocked.

"I didn't reject her!" Shawn says defensively.

"You didn't accept her either. I'm ashamed to call you my brother." I say sadly going after Blake.

---*Blake's POV*---

These last few days I could feel the barrier that kept the bond blocked slip and there was nothing i could do to stop it.
As soon as i was out the Blackmon's house tears started to fall from my eyes. When i got to the tree line i shifted and ran as fast as my wolf's legs could take us. Before i knew it i was at the waterfall. My wolf let out a pained howl and i knew it was just a matter of time before they would come.
I laid down with my head on my paws.

"We're coming little sis." Daniel's voice fills my head.

"No, please Daniel i just want to be alone for a while." I pleaded. I have to get my emotions under control.

"Okay, just Ash then.!" It was a statement not a question.

A few minutes later i heard the pounding of paws and knew it was Ashley. Her black and white wolf walked towards me with clothes in her mouth. My wolf let's out a whimper at her friend.

"Let's shift for some privacy Blake." She said over the mind link.
We shif and got dressed and went to sit on our rock.

"Im so sorry Blake. You don't deserve this." She said hugging me.

"It's not you're fault Ash." I said hugging her back. Wiping at lone tear.

"I know, but i care Blake, you're my best friend and my brother is wrong for putting you through this and I'm so sorry. Are you at least going to tell me when this all happend?" She asked sadly.

"It happened the day Shawn and Daniel came back. When i went to back to you're house to get the scarf. I bumped into him in the kitchen. He said he can't love me Ash." I say sobbing into her shoulder and she just let's me. When i calmed down a bit i continued.
"He said that he doesn't do love and that he doesn't want to hurt me. But that's
exactly what he's doing. He asked me to block the bond but it's slipping, i don't know how but i can feel the bond and the pain. He asked me not to tell." I say wiping my face with the sleeve of the shirt Ash brought me.

"That son of a wolf!" Ash said angrily. "I always knew he was heartless, but i didn't know he was This heartless. I'm so sorry Blake." She said hugging me again.

We sat there for a wile in silence just starting at the stars when her eyes glossed over. Someone was talking to her through mind link.

"It's Daniel. We have to head back. Rogues have been spotted not far from here. " she said standing up.

We walked back in human form in complete silence. I felt numb again. How long will this barrier last before i brake down completely?

"You gonna be okay?" She asked after a while pulling me from my thoughts.

"Yeah,thanks Ash. Talking about it really help's." I gave her a small smile.

"I'll always be here for you Blake. That's what friends are for." She said smiling sympathetically at me.
"Let's go home."
