Upside down

My breathing quickens as I run through the forest, my footsteps thudding on the ground, my red cloak streaming out behind me.

"Little red riding hood..." A deep, husky voice called out. "Where are you~."

I duck behind a big oak, resting my back against it, to catch my breath. I reach into my cloak and pull out my gun and take aim. I took it from dad's collection and know nothing about what it is, except how to fire it.

And I can do that pretty well.

The big wolf comes into view and I fire a shot at his thigh, hitting the target, making him fall down to his knees.

The wolf was able to be hurt, but thanks to regeneration, it was unkillable.

Just as he pulls out the bullet and starts fixing his leg, I jump up and continue running.

I put my gun back inside my cloak, inside my little wooden basket, and pull out a small hand grenade. I pull the tab and throw it at the wolf.

It misses and he leaps through the fire and runs toward me.

Unable to run anywhere anymore, I take out the hunting knife from my basket and engage in battle.

He swung his claws at my neck and I slipped back, out of reach, then I surged forward, aiming the tip of my knife at his stomach, but he uses his hand to push me to the side, and I end up being flung against a tree.

I get back up and go for the attack again.

I swing the knife at his neck and miss as he steps backwards, then I pull it back and go for his unguarded stomach again, only this time I connected with it.

A bright white grew from where I stabbed him and he dissolves into ash, blown away by the wind.

I wipe the blood off of my knife and put it back in the basket, pulling my hood over my brown hair, hiding my blue, now turning red eyes.

Not so unkillable now, huh?
