The main gods of Hinduism are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Brahma is the creator. Vishnu is the preserver. Shiva is the destroyer. This refers to usually worlds. It's created, preserved, then destroyed.
Like most gods and goddesses, they have many incarnations or many forms. For example, one of Vishnu's forms is Rama.
There are lots of gods who also have incarnations and who also are very important. Goddesses too. Some of the ones you may be familiar with are Parvati, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. Like how Parvati has many forms, she can be Durga or Kali or someone else.
Most commonly, Vishnu and Shiva are considered most important. Shiva is very often ones ishta-devata.
