Sincere walked out of Alonzo's house and got into his car to drive home. While driving home, he got a text from his brother saying that he wanted to talk and catch up because Sincere and his brother Gino haven't spoken to each other since their father died back in 2013 when they were in Miami. Sincere and Gino's parents were married since they were kids but that all changed when their mother Josana had all of their siblings and left their father Lucas with their kids for another man by the name of Nathaniel and started a whole new life who she married and kids by. Their relationship with their mother died when she left them and their siblings with their father to be with someone else and had more children with the man that she left their father for because she felt the relationship with their father was dead and that it ran its course and she felt that the other man had more to give. The only mother figure they had was their father's grandmother Glenda who passed when they were young. Sincere pulled into the driveway and saw his brother Gino parked in front of his house while smoking. Sincere got out of his car while Gino walking up the driveway to approach him.

" What up brotha" said Gino

" What up my nigga" said Sincere

"Shit came to see my brotha" said Gino

" Ok" said Sincere as they walked inside his house

Sincere took off his coat and placed it on his chair while Gino did the same

" So what you been up to ?" said Sincere while pouring two glasses of Cognac

"Nothing just got back from Punta Canta" said Gino

" What the fuck are you doing in Punta Canta ?" said Sincere while giving Gino the glass

" Business and pussy" said Gino

"Damn its like that my nigga ?" said Sincere

" Yeah it's like that my nigga" said Gino

" You crazy my nigga " said Sincere

" SMH but anyway what's good with Joaquin, Alonzo and the nigga who always fucking on the job ?" said Gino

" Who Lorenzo ?" said Sincere

"Yeah that nigga, what is good with his ass, any new pussy he's touched ?" said Gino

"C'mon now we all know the answer to that question when isn't he fucking ?" said Sincere

"Damn that nigga never changes " said Gino

" You right " said Sincere

" Anyway what's the real reason you came here Gino, because trying to make conversation isn't one of your strong techniques as a human" said Sincere

" I came to tell you that I found mom " said Gino

"What do you mean you found her ?" said Sincere

" I found her" said Gino

" When and where ?" said Sincere

" A couple of months ago while I was in Miami on business and I saw her and Nathaniel at restaurant like nothing ever happened" said Gino

" Really how do you feel about that ?" said Sincere

" Honestly idk because that is some crazy shit like who leaves their kids and husband and gets married and has kids with someone else like they don't have whole motherfucking family at home ?" said Gino

" That's what motherfuckers do when they don't care about no one but themselves. For all I know and in my eyes the woman that I called mommy died when we were kids and that our grandmother Glenda. Real shit, that bitch is dead to me that's on dad" said Sincere

Gino lean from the edge of the couch and put his glass on the table while Sincere was expressing the way he felt about their mother and how he didn't want a relationship with her. Sincere took his grandmother's death harder than his other siblings because he was close to her. Glenda was Sincere's guardian angel meaning whenever he got into trouble and he didn't want his father to know whatever the problem was she always covered for him and took it to the grave with her. Gino got a call from one of his men about his business that made him leave.

"Yo I'm out my nigga" said Gino to Sincere while giving a dap

" Iight my nigga be safe stay up my nigga" Sincere

"No doubt" said Gino

Sincere closed the door after Gino left. While walking away from the door he notices an envelope that was addressed to him from their mother Josana laying on the table in the living room. Sincere contemplated about whether opening the envelope to see what's inside or burn it because it'll drive him over the edge because of her absence and the way she broke up their family and home. But on the other hand, he felt that if he opened the envelope maybe he'll find out what went wrong between her and their father and why did she leave and hopefully he find closure to the anger he has towards her. Sincere poured a glass of cognac and lit a blunt while sitting on the couch in the living room in silence and that's when he decided to open the envelope that held the letter that his brother Gino gave to him from their mother Josana. In the letter it said:

" Dear Sincere,

I know I am the last person that you want to hear from and I understand but I can't hold this in any longer. Sincere, I am writing you this letter to say that I am sorry for all those years that I wasn't there for you as a mother when you needed me the most during your childhood throughout your adult years. I'm sorry that I left your father with the burden of being a single dad raising 5 kids alone without a mother figure in the house. Every day and night I lose sleep because of what I did to and your siblings and father. I am writing this letter because my days are limited because I'm dying due to cancer and I need to get this off my chest and make this right and start a relationship with you before it's too late. I reached out through your other siblings and wrote and spoke to them, that's how I got a hold of you through Gino. I know that what you were told about your father's and I relationship sounded like I didn't love your father and I didn't want you guys in my life or be part of your lives, that's not true. I wanted to be part of your lives trust me I really wanted to be but the relationship between your father and I just died and I grew out of love with him that's why I left and I didn't any baggage from him follow me into the new relationship with Nathaniel that's real reason why I left. Your father Lucas was good to me and I used to care and be in love with him but after I had you guys I felt more alone each and every day because your father would go to work every day and night to provide for you guys but never have time for me so I got fed up with him that is why I slept with Nathaniel and marrying him was my chance to leave everything behind. Again, I'm sorry

Josana"

After Sincere read the letter, he became filled with rage and pain because of what his mother Josana said in the letter and she explain in blunt detail of how she left them and how she treated their dad and why she did what she did. Sincere threw the glass against the wall causing the glass on the picture of NYC to crack in the center. Sincere wanted to call Gino but he changed his mind and decided to keep it to himself because that was his mother and to him calling her that made his inside feel dead like a corpse that was decomposing and made his skin feel like it was on fire because in his eyes the only woman that he called mom died in his eyes and that was his grandmother Glenda. Sincere put the letter back in the envelope and sat it on the table in the living room and locked the front door. After he locked the front door he walked upstairs into his bedroom and took all his clothes off, he sat his phone on the charger and went into the bathroom and started the shower. While standing in the shower with the hot/warm water running down his muscular back he began to have flashbacks of his father and him having conversations about life when he was a kid and his last words before he passed.  Sincere was Cape Verdean, Peruvian, Italian and Panamanian and stood 6'6 and weighed 272 lbs.
