I woke to the sun shining in my face. I checked my alarm and - OH CRAP! I'M LATE! I can't believe it, I overslept. AGAIN. Mr Wilberts is going to kill me! I hope Jake didn't leave for college yet, so that he could give me a ride. "Come on! Pick up the phone! Jake! CODE RED!" "Again? It's the fifth time. I'll be there in five." "Thanks dude!" I flew down the stairs like the freaking flash.

Jake is now 19, he graduated last year and is attending the local college. He's my backup when I'm late. Simon usually picks me up for school. We are both 18 and in our final year.

I arrived at school just before first period. Derek me in front of our class. Along with Troy and Erick. Erick is the baby of the group. He's 17 in 11th grade. Troy and Derek are in my class. I don't see Seth but his probably off with some girl. Seth joined our group 3 years ago. Along with him came a lot of girls and they are the reason why the guys and I no longer go on adventures. They are too busy with girls. Girls, girls, girls! I only have eyes on one guy. He doesn't even see me as a girl. Only as one of the 'Guys'. Seth is my one -.

"Hey Kello! How you doing? "
"Hey Seth! I'm cool. We still on for Saturday night? "
"Yeah, but the guys won't be able to make it. So it's just me and you Kello!" Seth is the only one who I allow to call me Kello. Anyone else call me that. They would get punched in the gut. Poomph! Out of breath!

"Cool! We can always ramshack a 7-eleven if you want."
"Well actually Kelly. I was thinking more of something like going to the cinema."
"And then?"
"We get some pizza, duh!" Seth smiled as we were going into class.
"Awesome dude, see you Saturday night then."
"Cool its a date then." Seth said as we went to sit down.

I noticed my friend Jen smiling from ear to ear. Her eyes glinting with amusement.
"Oh, my,gosh! You are sooo going on your first date with Seth Simons. Oooh lala. So where you going?" Jen beamed by my side.

"We are not going on a 'date' , we're hanging out like we always do. We going to the movies then some 'za."

"Oh, so you're just 'hanging out' without the guys."
"Yeah, the guys are busy on Saturday night. Plus, Seth only sees me as a friend, not a girl."
"Yeah right! Not all the guys are busy on Saturday. Jake Kentucky is not busy. Seth just wants you and him to hang out alone."

"Really? Fine maybe he does, how will I know?"
"If he holds your hand and, or sits really close to you, then he really likes you."
"Yeah okay. We will see in Saturday. For now, shush! Sir is here. Let the lecture begin."
She giggled. "Yeah, let the lecture begin."

Mr Amos spoke our ears off for nearly 3 hours about how our body systems reproduce. I hate these biology lectures. They take forever. Right now we're learning about gross insides of bodies. Also how they make babies. I know I'm in 12th grade and all, but it's unnerving. Luckily we only get 3 periods today. 3 hours of bio. 2 hours of maths and 2 ½ hours of art lectures. The best part of a Thursday. Arts.

"...And in conclusion, we see that as soon as the egg gets fertilised the foetus begins to grow. And so the process continues once the baby becomes an adult!!!" Mr Amos ended his lesson. I checked the clock. 8 minutes left in this period then launch. At least Amos decided to end our period's work quickly. Though I have no clue what he said. I was too bust thinking about what Jen said. Seth and me ? As a couple...RRRRIIIINNNNNGGGG!!!
"Okay class, you may leave now."

Lunch in the cafeteria was always unappealing. That is why I had my hour lunch at the mall. As Jen and I walked to the food court with our MacD's , we saw Jake sitting with Erick and Derek.

"Hey guys!"
"Hey Jen! Hey Kelly! Joining us today?"
"Yes, Jake, so where's Seth?" Jen blushed. She had a huge crush on Jake.
"Seth's still at school, he's not joining us today." Erick replied.
"Uhm, so why aren't you guys coming with Seth and me on Saturday?"
"Oh , yeah, that!" All three boys kept their eyes averted.
"We're busy that night. Hope you and Seth enjoy." Derek was smirking.
