Adopted by Dan and Phil

overhearing

Two weeks later.
I was casually sitting at my laptop playing some Sims 4 when I heard Dan and Phil arguing upstairs.

"I DON'T THINK WE SHOULD DAN!" Phil yelled.

"PHIL SHE FLINCHES EVERY TIME I WAVE AT HER OR GO TO HUG HER!" Dan yelled.

I race upstairs an sit by the door listening to them.

"Dan, she has been through enough already-" Phil started.

"PHIL, we need to take her to therapy sessions!" Dan interrupted.

"No! No I will not stand for that!"

"Phil, she is Ill, very ill."

I walked into the room and suddenly all of my thoughts came rushing into my head at once. My palms were sweaty and the room was becoming darker and darker, there was a lump in my throat and my breathing was heavier and heavier, the. I couldn't see anything apart from black!

I woke up to Dan's worrying face as he was leaning over me. I looked around and saw that I was in a hospital. Dan saw me wake up and kissed me in the head and sighed a sigh of relief. Phil walked into the room, kisses me on the head and Dan on the lips, yes phan is real in this ok. He paswes Dan a coffee and smiles at me.

"How long have I been here?" I asked.

" About two days." Dan says.

"I want to go dan, please I don't like it here." I say.

He grabs my hand reassuringly and it makes me feel calmer, Phil is stroking my hair and I finally feel like I am safe somewhere.

"Let's go home shall we, together, as a family." Phil says.

He walks out to tell the nurse that we are going. Dan, still holding my hand, comes forward and moves a bit of my hair out of my face. He kisses me on the nose and we smile at eachother.

"So what type of school do you want to go to?" Phil asks me the next day.

"Hmmm public."I say happily.

"There's one down the road from hear, maybe you could go there." Dan suggests.

"Yeah." I say overjoyed.

I sit in between Dan and Phil on the sofa and we watch an anime called, your lie in April. We continue to watch it until half nine having dinner in between.

"Right, time for you misses to get ready for bed." Dan says.

"Ok." I yawn.

I take a shower and get changed into my new Harry potter PJ's. I do my teeth. I head back into the living room and kiss Dan and Phil goodnight. Dan follows me down into my bedroom and I climb the ladder and get into bed. Dan stands on the ladder.

"I love you." He says.

I tear up a little bit, no-one but Keenan has said that they love me.

"I love you too." I say hugging him.

He kisses me on the head and then he walks towards Phil, who is waiting by the door. They turn the light off and say goodnight and then I fall asleep.
