Chapter 8-1

"Do you know where you are!" The man yelled loudly.

"N-n-no" I said in tears and shivers. I could see nothing I had a blindfold on and was chained up.

I felt a cold presence on my skin. Like a medal pipe. I was scared to death. I was praying to god nothing happened to me.

"How did you get here?"

If I told him I had followed William, he could have gotten in trouble and I didn't want anybody else to get hurt.

So I didn't response. My mistake. He hit me on my ribs and I screamed hard.

I yelled waking up in gasps. I looked around to find myself in my bed. My breath was heavy and I tried controlling my breath.

After five minutes of controlling my breathing i got out of bed. As I walked to the bathroom my stomach starting aching. I pulled up my shirt to find a nasty bruise on my ribs.

I looked at my hands that were shaking. Flashes came through my head about last night. Tears fell down and I didn't know what to do.

I needed someone. I couldn't tell my friends or family, the only person I could ever tell was Chris. I needed him right now.

I walked downstairs trying to wipe my tears as I heard my home phone start to ring. I tried looking for it and found it in the living room.

The number read '657-293-3106' I've never seen this number but what if it was my mom. She uses a lot of pay phones to call me. I sighed and answered.

"Hello?" My voice cracked a little as I spoke.

"You can't hide forever doll face" I heard a man with a low voice say.

I hung up the phone immediately.I was scared. How did they get this number?! Do they know where I am?!?

I paced around for a couple of minutes before calling Chris over.

I opened the door and wrapped my hands around his neck with tears falling down. There was no space between us. He gently hugged me back and pulled back wiping my tears.

"I'm so sorry, I never meant this to happen to you" he whisper as he held me tight in his arms.

I just simply nodded and kept on hanging onto him. He then picked me up by my feet and we went upstairs into my room.

"How are you holding up?" he whispers to me looking down at me. We were now in my bed as I laid on Chris's chest.

I nodded slowly. "I'm trying not to focus on the voices in my head"

He kisses the top of my head and help me closer. Moments later we both fell asleep next each other.

Jump Skip.

"You look great for prom!" Vilde yelled from across the room as she made her way next to me.

"You and Alec are going to be the hottest couple ever!" She said and walked back into the restroom to continue on her makeup.

I looked through the mirror and saw small bruises on my wrist and sighed sitting on my bed. It's been a month now since the incident and I'm doing okay.

I can sleep now in my own bed now without Chris or Noora. I didn't tell her I just told everyone I fell down the stairs, which they believed.

I know what you're thinking. You're still with Alec! Yes I am. I am never going to change the way I feel about Chris but he has a girlfriend now... Aveene.

He's move on, so I should too.

After Noora, Vilde and I got ready our dates came in a limo to pick us up. Vilde went with a guy named James, Noora didn't go with anyone but I have feeling William will be there.

This prom wasn't at school, it was on the top of a hotel. See we decided to ditch the actual prom and instead of this girl Chloe decided to throw one herself, so we weren't planning on going to a school dance.

Since it was in a hotel me and Noora booked a room for us to sleep over in. When we got there we headed towards a table.

"Do you want anything to eat?" Alec asked me and I nodded, I was starving to be honest.

As we walked towards the table, I saw Chris with Chloe, they were making out. God, I hate him so much.

We haven't talked since about two weeks ago and every time he sees me he just looks away or gives a face. I don't know what really happened to him that night.

"Actually let's dance" I told Alec and pulled him into the dance floor. It was a slow song so I put my hand in his and the other on his shoulders as he placed his other hand on my waist.

"You look very beautiful today" he commented.

I smiled. "Thank you, you look very handsome" I said back while dancing with him.

Looking behind Alec I could see Chris now starring at us. Wasn't he just making out with someone? And now he's starring?

Chloe came back and Chris gave her a sloppy kiss on the mouth and smirked while looking at me.

Oh is he playing that game now?!

I leaned into Alec and pressed my lips against his. He passionately kissed back. As I pulled back I looked behind him and didn't see him.

Me and Noora were now eating together as Alec went into the restroom. I keep seeing Noora eyeing William a few times and he doing the same so like a good friend I got up and walked towards him.

"William, hey. Let me be very clear about something. Noora is my best friend and I know you two kind of have a thing for each other so here's what's going to happen... you're going to go over there and into my hotel room-" I gave him my card and continued. "You and her can have your time in there doing whatever you kids do which will make her as happy as she can possibly ever be! okay? okay!" I walked away knowing he was walking to her.

Chatter flew around that Alec was in a fight with Chris outside. So I quickly made myself outside and there was a crowd around them as they were punching each other.

I gasps and pushed through the crowd. "Alec stop!" I said as I saw Alec on top of Chris punching him in the gut and face.
