Lauren's POV

Today we have auditions to try and find a girl that matches my personality best. And if I can't decide like that I have to spend a day with the ones I liked best. Honestly this whole thing seems really weird but who knows I might enjoy it.

I spent the morning rushing around and double checking I had everything. I was so nervous and scared that I'd screw anything up. But when I got there I realised I was worrying for nothing. I went in and sat next to Greg who gave me a reassuring smile.

Name: Grace
Age: 12
Birthday: November 11th
Eye colour: green
Hair: short and brown

I read as a girl matching the description walked into the room she was tall for her age about 5'4. That worried me as I was only 5'6. So she'd hardly be a mini me.

'Hey!'Greg said trying to make the child feel more comfortable she shifted slightly in her chair. I couldn't even imagine how she could feel. It must be terrifying.

'Hey.' She said her voice low as a smile crept onto her face.

'So why don't you tell us a little about yourself?' I suggested trying to make her feel more comfortable.

'My names grace, I'm 12 and I live with mum, dad and younger brother Greyson.' She said In an accent that made it sound like she was from the city.

I liked her.

We saw another 18 girls before Greg called in the last. Her name was Bonnie and she was the smallest but oldest of the girls.

She walked in slowly before jumping on the floor. I looked at her confused I imagine Greg was pulling a similar face.

'You gotta break the ice.'she smiled. Her accent similar to mine yet different.

'So where are you from then?' I asked hoping it'd help me determine her accent.

'Well I was born in London, England. But I moved over here last year. And I'm starting to pick up on the accent at least that's what all my British friends are telling me.' She replied her voice slightly louder this time as she'd clearly become more comfortable.

'So come on then what 3 did you like the most.' Greg asked but I didn't want to reply because I felt mean not picking one of the other 17. But I eventually replied.
'Erm... Grace, lucy, Bonnie, Molly and phoebe.'

'Great! So you can take Grace to a shopping mall. Lucy to dinner, Bonnie to an amusement park. Does that sound good?' He asked I nodded in response glad he's planned everything for me because I'm useless at this kind of stuff.

The week flew by and before I knew it I was having to tell Greg what girl I wanted to spend the next four weeks with. This decision was big and of course I called on Steven the night before to help me. He was good like that.

'So..' Greg said sitting down. I fiddled with hair rethink my decision.

'Bonnie.' I replied quietly not 100% sure if that was the right decision.

Was it the right decision?

Did I just make a big mistake?

This chapter was the same length as the others but I promise the next one will be longer and more detailed.
