Robyn and Aubrey were headed to Nobu to meet up with Robyn's immediate family. The nervousness and anxiousness Aubrey felt was unbearable. "Don't stress so much babe. I'm pretty sure you can take an hour and a couple of minutes with my parents. You'll be fine" Robyn shook her head. Aubrey stayed quiet, as he pulled into the restaurant. His heart was beating out his chest, he hasn't seen his in-laws since Robyn's family reunion last year. *Flashback* "Hey y'all.." Robyn walked up to her family, with Aubrey's hand linked with hers. Her mother crinkled her eyebrows in confusion, "Robs, Family Reunions are for family...." Robert nodded in agreement along with Rena crossing her arms. "Aubrey is apart of this family now" said Robyn getting upset. She knew exactly what her parents were going to do, they hated him so much. "No... He isn't even involved in this family Robyn...Take him home or something" Robyn's family treated him like a dog, it was cruel. * End of Flashback* Aubrey pushed the past event to the back of his mind, and helped his wife out the car. They held each other's hands walking inside, Robyn gave Aubrey a tight squeeze, "You'll be okay, Baby. I promise" Aubrey nodded, feeling relieved after his love assured him. Her parents really weren't the people to mess with. They walked to the podium centered in the front of the restaurant, "Meeting up with the party of Fenty " Robyn smiled. She was usually the talkative one of the two, Aubrey was very shy, and less talkative ever since his mom passed away. "Over there." The guy pointed to the table her family was seated at. They both walked towards the table, and greeted them quietly.
"Hey everybody.." Robyn said getting her family's attention.
"Oh Robyn you made it!" Theresa got up and threw her arms around Robyn's shoulders. They hugged for a little, and the couple sat at the table.
Robyn cleared her throat, "Father"
"Hi Robyn. Very Nice to see you every now and then. "

"Robert! Don't be silly talk to your daughter!" Theresa said. Robyn never respected her father growing up, he beat on her mother multiple times due to tough decisions that had to be made. Robyn sighed and looked over at her sister who was sending fast messages to someone. "Rena. Who are you texting? Your sister, and her frien-husband are here. Show respect please."
"Oh my god, No one mama! I already talked to you about being in my business" Rena rolled her eyes.

The awkwardness was broken by the waitress coming to take their orders, and drinks.
"Now... Sis? Are you settled in?" Rena asked ignoring her upset mother.
"Pretty much" Robyn said.
"Maybe we should come over sometime then." Theresa butted in.
Rena nodded, and looked at Aubrey. He was looking at his shaking hands along the table. "Aubrey what's good with you? Anything new?" Rena put him on the spot.
"Uh nope..."
Robyn's family rolled their eyes at Aubrey's dry response.
"Leave him alone y'all..." Robyn said noticing the looks across the table.
"What? I ask him a simple question. I haven't seen him in a year, and I get a dry ass response. Get a man who can actually fuck with your family Robs... Damn" Rena scoffed, and scrolled through her phone once more.
"Rena! No cursing! And that was rude!" Theresa snickered.
"Look I can't do this.... Here take the keys, I'll just roll up an Uber." Aubrey got up from the table, and left the 4 sitting there.
"Baby, wait!" Robyn got up to go chase after him.
Rena chuckled, "Lame ass fool."
