Chapter 10 - Lay Down Your Goddamn Arms
{2012}
Two years later, and here I stood. It took us time to get any sort of traction going, I’ll give you that… but when we finally picked a date, everybody knew it. Neither of us ever half-assed anything.
Two years...well, twenty-six if you’re counting from the day I met him. But it was two years to the day that Marilyn had proposed to me. And now we were finally saying our vows, a silent tear or two of joy trickling down our cheeks as we smiled and vowed to love each other for the rest of our lives.
As the priest said “You may kiss the bride…”, Marilyn swept me back off my feet and kissed me deeply, a cheer rising up from the crowd of loved ones that watched on proudly.
“Yeah, yeah, you love her, that’s enough...she’s my sister!” Jeordie yelled, laughing, and we laughed with him as we finally broke apart and turned to look at our families.
“Imagine how I feel...our parents are right there!” I squeaked nervously as Marilyn...Brian lifted me up in his arms and spun me around, my wedding gown flowing out around me in the air. It had to be the happiest moment of my life…

(2 Hours later…)
The reception was beautiful, laughing and drinking and dancing, overjoyed, until it was time for Marilyn and I to leave for our flight. I changed out of the wedding gown into my comfy plane outfit and slipped down the stairs to rejoin Marilyn.
Just as I was about to slide into the car, he stopped me. I smiled as he handed me my bouquet and faced away from the jostling ladies waiting for me to throw it. I lobbed it over my head and turned just in time to see me best friend Liz catch it and look up at me...terrified.
Laughing, Marilyn and I slipped into the limo, kissing deeply as the driver sped us off to God knows where.

I smiled as Marilyn closed the hotel room door firmly behind him and leant back against it with a smile. “The fans here are worse than at home!” he chuckled as he came to lay on the bed beside me. He smirked a little. “What’s got you smiling so brightly?”
“I love you.” I smiled and leant over to kiss him, giggling as his hands began to wander over me temptingly. “Hey, honey...you know how we’ve been here nearly three months?”
“Mhmm…” Marilyn mumbled as he kissed me again. “Is that too long for a honeymoon?”
“Oh, God no.” I moaned as his hand slipped up under the hem of my nightie. “I just...have something I need to tell you before we...continue…”
“And that is?” Marilyn smirked as he leant away from me a little to look into my eyes. He looked at how I was smiling again and his jaw dropped. “No...no way!” he grinned as he asked.
I nodded happily. “I’m pregnant!” I smiled, laughing quietly as he rolled us so he was hovering over me and kissed me deeply.
“You’ve no idea how happy I am right now…” he murmured between kisses.
I lifted my hips to grind against him teasingly. “I’ve a rough idea.” I smirked and winked up at him playfully.
“You know what this means?” Marilyn grinned.
“Yeah,” I smiled. “It means that we’re expecting a new, little hellraiser for the Manson ranks.” I smiled as he nodded and kissed me again...hard.
This was our perfect time, and so it would continue to be until the day we died…
(The End…)
