(Author's point of view)
The sun had hovered over the burning sand. The waves had grown angry and crashed upon the shoreline. How could a nice day turn like this in a couple of minutes? IA and Y/N's winning spirits are what caused it.
About 30 minutes of non-stop playing and the leaders were miraculously pumped to the core. They both wanted to win to stop their opponent from winning the deal that was struck.
If Y/N won, the princess would "no longer piss me off" in his words. However if IA won, Y/N would be a complete slave to IA for the remainder of the day.
They were currently on their last game, both needing but a single point to win. But who will win this epic beach volleyball game OF THE GODS?!!! Perhaps I've kept you reading all this useless chit-chat for a while now, so let's get on with the story.
BTW I know nothing about volleyball except for a move called the spike and the way to win is by the ball hitting the ground on the opposing team's side of the net XD. So enjoy my shitty description of a game of volleyball.
Anyway, let's get to the game...
(3rd person point of view)
Kaito served the ball with a hard punch and it flew to the other side with puny force, due to his panting and breathlessness. Rin managed to return it to her brother on the other side of the net, which he countered by weakly pounding it upwards.
Y/N jumped up and smashed the ball behind IA with an excited fury in his eyes. Miku slapped the ball upwards for IA to jump and slam the ball at Kaito's head, which knocked him out. "Kaito!" Len yelled.
The ball had rebounded off of Kaito's head to Y/N, which he had then hit the ball over the net. "Go for a spike!" IA shouted to Rin. Rin hit it upwards towards Miku and then Miku hit it upwards above herself. IA jumped as high as she could and pounded the ball with two charged fists, launching it towards the ground by Y/N.
Y/N took a dive and managed to guide the ball straight up above him; Len was struggling to run to the ball. At this point, time seemed to slow down around Y/N; he could tell that something bad was going to happen, but didn't know what. "Dooooonnnnn'tttttt wwwoooorrrryyyy, I'vvvveeeee gooooootttt thiiiiiiissss!" Len said with a slow-mo effect in his voice, (just like how they use it in the movies. XD)
Y/N was still lying down on the ground, and powerless to do anything. IA was thinking that victory was already hers. Len (In his slow-mo state) had tiredly sprinted closer and closer to the ball as it slowly descended from the air. Len had his blue eyes focused on the ball and only the ball, not looking where he was running. "Len watch out for-" Too late. As Y/N was interrupted from warning him, the worst had already come to pass; Len had tripped over Kaito's unconscious body. "WAAAAAA!!!" Len screamed as he fell face first into the scorching sand below his feet.
Y/N looked up at the ball and then followed it with his eyes as it hit the sand right in front of him. The surrounding crowd had gone wild, but all Y/N could hear was the sound of his reality being split in half. IA was jumping for joy as she won the bet, Miku and Rin however had fallen to the ground from overtiredness.
"So lucky... we won." Rin managed.
"I know... IA would have... kicked our asses if we... lost." Miku huffed, ending with a victorious smile.
Y/N smirked. "Maybe if we didn't do all those matches before, we could have won." Y/N stood up and brushed the sand off of his t-shirt and shorts.
But he was only knocked down again by IA hug-tackling him. "Y/N! Y/N! Y/N! I won, I won! You know what that means?!" IA excitedly shouted while rubbing her cheek against his.
