I was kinda daydreaming when I got a call from Brandon. I wondered how he knew my number then I remembered about the groupchat. I hesitated then I picked it up. Well this is going to be dodgy. When I answered, instead of politely saying hello or something, he got straight to the point.
"Do you have feelings for me?" He said, softly.
How does he know, what the hell! Did Holly tell him. OMG this soooo awkward.
"Ummm, how do you know?" I ask.
"So you do?!" From the tone of his voice, any fool could tell he's smirking. Seriously what is so funny about all this.
"Well yeah, maybe, but how do you know?" I ask, still confused.
"Holly just texted me, and well she told me." He says.
Then it was a really awkward silence for about 10 seconds then he finally says something. I guess he knew I wasn't going to say anything.
"Well do you wanna meet up at Starbucks at 6?" He asks, casually.
"Yeah sure!" I say trying my hardest not to sound so desperate.
"See you in a bit!" He hung up the line.
I'm so exited! He asked me out on a date! Well it might not be a proper one but stillll, technically it counts.
Now all I need to do is find the perfect outfit! I don't wanna be to dressy but I don't wanna look scruffy, showing up in ripped dungarees might throw him off. I look through my closet and around my room and I find the perfect outfit...

It's only 5:00pm when I look at my clock so I scroll through my feed and watch YouTube. When I look back at my clock, it's 5:45 and it only takes me 10 minutes to get to Starbucks so I get up. I'm just about to leave when out of nowhere I hear someone call MADISON. I scream then I see it was only my mom.
She looked like she had just been baking as she had flour all down her and had an apron on. I notice her hair is down. Great, muffins with hair in it; thanks mom'!'
"Where do you think you're going missy?" She asks.
"I'm going to Starbucks,"
"To see who?" Damn, why does she ask so many questions.
"This Brandon person," I mumble.
"Do you even know who he is! Are you sure he's not a 50 year old man or something like that? When did you talk to him? No Madison, you are not going to see him." She rants on.
"No no no mom, he's from magcon you can ask Cameron if you don't trust me,"
"Cameron!" My mom yells up the stairs.
"Yes mom?" Cameron yells back.
"Is there a boy called Brandon from magcon and if their is, how old is he and what grade is he in?"
"Yes their is and he's 14 and he's in the 8th Grade (Year 9 in the UK). Why?" Cam replies.
"I just wanted to know, thanks." She answers.
"Ok, your clear to go and you better be home by 8," She says.
"Ok and thank you."
I have to start running to Starbucks.
Cameron's POV
I think Madison is going to see Brandon; that's why mom was asking all these strange questions. He's a good lad and all but if they end up going out he'll probably break her heart for some stupid reason. I'm not going to say anything to Madison as I don't want to upset her.
Madison's POV
It was 5:55 when mom finally let me go and it took me five minutes to get there as I had to jog pretty fast. I make it on time, only a bit out of breath. Then, as I walk in, I see him standing there.
