As soon as I wake up, the first thing that comes into my head is, 'dinner, with Brandon and his family- today'. I groan, I really don't want to go.
After all that drama with Cameron, going to Brandon's house really isn't at the top of my bucket list.
I could pretend to be sick but the last time I did that my mom just said- porridge and beans mixed together really isn't convincing as fake sick- and she told me to join drama club to work on my acting skills. Besides, even if my mom falls for it, she'll just find some way to rearrange the visit.
I mean, I once missed DISNEYLAND to go visit my Great Aunt! What? I was 7 and I was really looking forward for to seeing Mickey and Minnie and all the other Disney Characters and Princesses but no, I had to give it up to see my Great Aunt who doesn't even like me.
But yeah, it's apparently 'rude' to just cancel a visit all together and, to be honest, even Johnny Depp can't pretend to be sick forever and fool my mom.
Anyway, you have no idea how awkward things with Cameron are. Holly gave me some great advice and told me to avoid him. But how the hell am I suppost to avoid someone I live with?!
I brush my teeth and then shower. My hair is long due for washing- so I wash it too, before my shower. After, I go into my room and I rummage through my closet for something 'suitable' to wear. I have already heard mom's rant about making a good impression far tmo many times and I'm not sure I ever want to hear it again.

The lip kit I am using is the Kylie Cosmetics Maliboo Lip Kit I got last month.
With little care, I throw my hair into a messy bun, grab my phone and head out my room door. Fortunately, I don't see Cameron but I do see Sierra coming out of her room. She's dressed but she has a towel round her hair.
"Morning Sie," I say.
"Morning."
"Do you know what time we're leaving?" I ask.
"Mom said around 10, but I've lived in this house long enough to know that means we'll probably leave around 11 to noon," She replies, grinning.
"Okay well I'm going down for breakfast, you coming?" I ask.
"Not now, when I finish with my hair." She says.
"K." I say, as I go down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Morning mom," I say to her. She's at the sink, finishing off doing the dishes.
"Morning sweetie," She replies. "Do you want me to make you an omelette?" She asks.
"Yeah sure." I answer.
My phone pings so I get it out. It's a text Tayla, a girl from my dance studio, Art In Motion.
Tayla💕💕
Tayla- Hey are u auditioning for A-troupe??
Me- Yeah but the competetion is going to be soooooo much higher now that we're going to Nationals
Tayla- ikr but hopefully we both make the team
Me- do u want to come to mine later to practice our solos
Tayla- yes wot time
Me- Is 5 pm fine by u
Tayla- yea sure c u then
Me- Cya
"Mom can Tayla come over at 5 o'clock? We need to work on our solos." I ask, as she serves me my omelette.
"Yes we'll be back from Brandon's house by then and can you go tell Cameron to go hurry up."
"Ok."
I run up the stairs taking the omelette with me. Mom could just tell him herself , but noooo. Just as I get up the stairs, Cameron walks out ready.
"Mom says hurry up," I say rudely.
"I was just coming." he shoots back.
"Why don't you tell her that just like you told me to break up with Brandon; to be honest it's no wonder Sophie broke up with you,"I say all in 1 breath. I'm not finished. "Who'd wanna date a guy like you." I don't know why I just said that. To be honest, I don't mean it sincerely but I just couldn't seem to stop the words spilling out.
Cameron's POV
It hurts to know how much I've hurt Madison- so much that she probally won't even admit that I'm her brother, but it's not just the Sophie drama that worries me about Brandon and Madison being together, it's something else but I don't know what.
To be honest, Madison is right, who'd want to date a guy like me. I tried to ruin my own sister's relationship with no proper reason. I've messed up and I don't know how to clean things up. Maybe this visit will help. And maybe I should leave the whole thing be and let Madison do what she wants, I mean she's 13, almost 14, she can make her own decisions.
I make my way down the stairs, grab an apple, walk to the car and sit in it. Everyone is already waiting. My mom raises an eyebrow at me, probally because of how long I took, even after she sent Madison to get me. But then she drives on.
Sierra's POV
In 300 yards take an exit at the 3rd exit on the roundabout.
The car is really silent and I can feel the tension between Cameron and Madison. So I decide to start talking.
"So Mom where exactly is the Rowland's house?"
"Dunno, she just gave me the postcode. All I know is that we will get there in 15 minutes." She says, not taking her eyes off of the road.
"And Madison, is that the Kylie Cosmetics Maliboo Lip Kit I see you have used, didn't know you had it?" I say.
"Huh, what do you mean? You got it for me," She states, confused.
"Oh yeah." I am really not making things better.
"And Cameron-" I start.
"Don't even bother." He says, interupting.
At first I thought he was just being rude but when I look at him he actually looked really sad and I decided to think nothing of his rudeness and just sit back and say nothing.
Brandon's POV
Madison just texted me that they're here so I look out the window and see them pull up. Yay can't wait to spend a whole day with that annoying little brat and her family.
A/N I am so so so so sorry that I have not updated in forever, literally! I didn't really feel like I was being encouraged to update as this fanfic doesn't seem to be going anywhere, it's so frustrating! Butthat's no excuse. We finished school on the 7th of this month, earlier than most schools in England, so I really don't have an excuse to not update as schools in Englanddon't give summer homework. I do enjoy writing this fanfic but it's not going anywhere so to encourage us please please just vote or comment! It wouldhonestly just make our day!
