Brexly's POV

This was it. I was going to be free. Free from being bullied, free from remembering my mom in every thing I do, free from the lonely feeling that is still ripping at my chest, free from another breath. The night was quiet, but not silent. The sound of water against rocks was beneath me and the sound of my heartbeat filled my ears. It was impossible for this moment to be silent.

I took a deep breath as I leaned over the rail of the bridge. I looked to my right and than to my left to make sure that no one was around. I started to step over but than I heard a loud gasp from behind me. I turned around to see a girl my age with blonde, wavy hair. Her blue eyes were wide in shock and I turned, getting ready to run back to my house. I wasn't going to kill myself with someone watching. I wasn't going to stay and let her talk me out of coming back later to do it either. I knew I could out run her so I started to take off. Before she was out of earshot she called out for me to stop. I wasn't going to stop though.

As I looked behind me to make sure she wasn't following I triped over something. It wasn't like me to be clumsy. I fell to the ground and felt my knee being scraped. I turned onto my back and sat up. The girl came running to me. She knealed down and looked at my knee. "I'm sorry, does it hurt?" She asked. I shook my head.

The girl sat down beside me. I wasn't looking at her but from the corner of my eye I saw her staring at me. When she noticed that I saw her looking she blushed and hid behind her hair. "What-what were you doing out there?" I stared at the ground as I answered. "What do you think I was doing?" She cleared her throat and shifted awkwardly. She just shrugged. "Well what were you doing out this late?" She shot her face up and looked me in the eyes. "I-I um, I'm not very sure. I think I was suppose to find you."

One word popped into my mind as she said that. "Are you an angel?" I barely whispered. I didn't even mean to let it slip out of my mouth. She smiled and shook her head. "Of course not." She said with a little laugh. I blushed and she stopped laughing, the smile stayed though. 'She could be an angel' I thought. Her hair was wavy and barely touched her shoulder, her blue eyes were sharp and held concern, her lips were red with the sides turned up into a perfect smile.

"I'm Sandy." She said, breaking the silence that I had spent taking her in. "Brexly" She stood up and looked at me on the ground. "Do you know what time it is?" I just shrugged for her answer.

She sighed and let her smile fall into a frown. "Well I'm guessing it's late. I need to get home. It was nice meeting you Brexly." I stood up and looked her in the eyes again. Her smile came back as I did that. "Try to not hang off the side of bridges anymore okay? I would miss you too much." She had said it as if she was joking but the look in her eyes held caution and concern. I repeated the last part in my head 'I would miss you too much'. I smiled back at her. "I'll try not to. Maybe I'll see you again?" I ask. She was turning to leave as I said it. "Of course, I'm always in the library, all you have to do is stop by there."

With that she turned and left. I started my walk home. As I was walking the thought finally hit me, she hadn't even tried to convince me not to jump other than that comment. I wasn't so sure about dying now though. Sandy saved me.

Sandy's POV

My dream was right. I had found brexly about to jump over the rail last night. My dream was right... He was in my other dreams too. I was suppose to save him. I was suppose to save him. My breathing quickened. What if my other dreams came true? They couldn't. They couldn't come true, things would never be the same.
