Lacey

Me and Nina arrive at the bowling alley in Manhattan just in time to meet up with King and his friend Johnathon. I was super excited because I kind of consider this a double date, in my head of course. I made sure I looked extra cute tonight by wearing ankle capri pants, a light pink loose fitted blouse and some nude wedges. I put my hair in a nice, high sleek bun especially since it was really hot tonight. After about ten minutes waiting for King and his friend, they came inside the bowling alley. As King approached Nina and I, I soon felt butterflies in my stomach. Something that I haven't felt in a long, long, time.

" Wassup Girls. Sorry for being late." King says while reaching his arms out to hug me. I hug him and then introduce Nina to him and his friend Johnathon.

We all go and get our bowling shoes and set up to play. We decided it would boys versus girls just to make the game more exciting.

After about 10 minutes, Nina and I were down by a strike and it was our turn. As I was about to bowl, Nina said some crazy stuff.

" So, you gonna fuck him?"

I looked at her in total shock.

" Nina! Are you kidding me? You know i'm a virgin. And plus, the only way I am sleeping with anyone is if he is my man and i'm ready. Until then. NO!"

" Oh get ya panties out ya ass. I know you a good girl and all, but you about to be off to college. Live a little . What you gonna do, stay in your dorm all day? "

With what Nina said, it had me thinking. I was too much of a good girl. But my virginity was precious to me and I took pride in that but sometimes I just wanted to experience and see for myself. Just live a little huh? I notice King staring at me as me and Nina are talking. And I must say, he IS one of attractive dude. He has a beautiful personality to go along with those looks as well. I guess I can flirt a little. I never really flirted with a guy before so this is going to be new to me.

" so you enjoying yourself" I was startled out of my thoughts by the sound of King's voice

" Yes. Yes, actually I am. You? "

" Yeah , i'm chillin. You tryna get something to eat ? "

" yes!"

I turn around to see if Nina wanted to go get food, but she is too busy is Johnathon's face. So, me and king headed off to the cafe in the bowling place to get pizza.

There's something about Lacey that makes me anxious. Her smile and her aura is to die for. Everything about her perfect. But then again, no ones perfect. For the strangest reason I constantly catch myself staring at her. Giving her one those " in love" looks. But Love? I'm not sure I know what that is. As me and Lacey continue to eat our pizza and talk, I notice this crowd of people coming into the bowling alley who look familiar.

As Lacey looks over her shoulder she says " oh wow. I think we should get going!! " her voice sounded a bit shakey and I wanted to know wassup.

" Yo Lacey what's wrong?"

" Nothing! Let's just leave and walk around. We can't stay here all night" she smiles nervously at me and it's starting to piss me the fuck off. She runs over to Nina leaving her mess behind and I see Nina look up and her face turn red. Now I'm just wondering how " perfect" Lacey really is.

As both ladies grab their purses hurriedly, I step in front of Lacey with this look of confusion, hoping she would put me on to this weird situation going on. Before she can even look up at me, a voice that I have come across before speaks up.

" Well Damn King! You fucking the bitch I been tryna get at since highschool? Why you always tryna copy a nigga? " he laughs

I turn around only to be face to face with an enemy I thought I'd never see again
