It's been a year since I've actually hung out with Tyler without Jess. She keeps preventing us hanging out alone. Of course he's blind and can't see that she's using him to know everything about him then use that for something like to embarrass him or something like that. I just wish it could be like the old days. Guess I better get used to barely see him alone. Even when he's alone at his locker. Somehow Jess spots me walking toward him and somehow beats me. I hate this war, but I gotta win.

After school I walk home and call Tyler. He answers.
But it's not him.
Its Jess.
Shoot.
What do I say?

"Hello?" Jess says

"Um hi, it's Kathy and I don't care what you think I NEED to speak with my best friend."

"Haha, your so funny! Hon he's not even your friend!" I hang up and throw my phone across the room and storm off to Jess's house. I kick the door down.

"TYLER?" I yell.

"HEY! You can't just come in like that!!!" Jess says.

"I do what I please."

"Well-" I cut her off,

"Where is Tyler?"

"Non of your business." A smile creeps across her face.

"IM DONE WITH YOU!!!" I toss a knife at her arm and then the other.

"I'll ask again, WHRE IS HE?" She starts sobbing and begs for mercy. Goddamit I just want her dead.

"He's at the bar with some of his friends." I take the knives and leave the building.

I search around for Tyler. Found him standing by a wall alone. I walk up to him. His eyes light up as he noticed me walking toward him.

"Kathy?"

"Hi Tyler..."

"What's wrong?"

"Okay one, I stabbed your girlfriend," he looks mad-ish "two, we haven't been hanging out a lot, I know Jess hates me and I don't mind, lots of people hate me, half of the people gave me looks as I walked in. And just I want a movie/game night like we used too..."

"Why you stabbed Jess?"

"Um well she doesn't think we are even friends and doesn't want me in your life..."

"Wonder how much time I would have time to relax without you? And all the wounds!"

"Hardy-har-har, you think your safe when I'm not around, but really your not."

"Heh, true."

"Anyway... What do ya say?"

"No Jess?"

"No Jess."

"Deal."

"Great! .... Don't you dare cancel or I swear you will find a knife through your face tomorrow."

"..."

"Bye!" I wave as I head out of the building. Tyler is still speechless.
