"Hmmm....." I playfully grinned.
"Let's see, shall we?" I slowly walked in a circle around him, aka my best friend Ethan.
"Just get on with it, April." He sighed. I grinned before saying,
"Ren." His face went from curious to shocked. See, I made a bet with Ethan. He thought that Kelsey, our other friend, would chicken out on asking her crush Nick out. Obviously, my prediction differed slightly. He said if he lost, I could tell him to kiss any girl, in front of everyone, in the school. If I lost, on the other hand, I would have to wash his laundry for a week. Seemed like a fair bet to me.
It was predicted, I would win. Kelsey didn't chicken out and I got to pick his next kissing buddy. He he.
"Are you crazy? Ren is....kinda...sorta..ummm, let's say, weird!" He made an inhuman groaning noise and walked over to her. I was pleased with my pick. Ethan was gonna have a lot of fun. Sarcasm.
See, Ren is not your average girl. She is, lets say, special. Although behind her geeky strange façade, she is a really nice girl. I saw Ethan turn around to look at me dying with laughter. Ethan offered to buy his way out of the bet, but that is not how I roll. He tapped her on the shoulder and she turned around.
"Oh, Ethan. I-I-I didn't see you there." Ren tucked a hair behind her ear. I could tell she fancied him. Heck, even I fancy him a little. Don't tell him that though.
He pecked her on the lips and ran back to me, "I hate you. Period." Anger and embarrassment filled his eyes. His jaw and fists were clenched. I patted him on the head like a dog and walked to my next and favorite class. Lunch.
Thank you for reading this chapter! Xx

I stared at the ever so beautiful piece of cake in front of me. It looked so yummy, I couldn't eat it. I just stared.
"I hate you, ya know?" My cake bonding time got interrupted by Ethan.
"I'm busy." I replied. Glaring at him. He placed his hands over his chest dramatically and pretend to be hurt.
"Well then, you cant even make time for your only friend!"
"I have other frie-"
"I shall leave you with your cake!" He made a dramatic exit out the canteen while I giggled. He is so childish sometimes. I stood up, leaving my cake for someone else and walked to the library. That is where I spend most if my lunches actually. Its quiet and peaceful.
