'3 days later'

Ruby's P.O.V.

As the days past I couldn't help thinking about auditioning. I pushed it to the back of my mind but Cailyn seemed to be adamant. She was auditioning with me and that was the end of it. I would definitely have to come up with plan no. 2 she was having none of my exam crap...Blah blah blah..

I turned the corner and took a right onto the paved narrow street, dodging people and jumping puddles I tried to hide from the rain. Although it didn't matter much anymore, for my clothes were now visibly transparent. I couldn't resist comparing my mood with this weather.I had just missed my bus home from school and after walking for 45 mins back to my house I then realised

I had misplaced my keys.

Where they are? still remains a mystery.

Pushing the door to the old brick lane music store , the door bell sounded my arrival. I waited for a few moments and listened to the soft strumming of a guitar which seemed to be coming from behind the desk.

"Hey, I'm Ed. Can I help you?"

A tall ginger, with the palest blue eyes emerged from behind the desk he had a guitar slung over his shoulder and I couldn't not compliment on what I had heard moments ago.

"Hi, Ruby." I reach out my hand. "Was that you playing?" I ask

He furrows his brows and places his guitar on the desk.

"Eh yeah" he answers "It's nothing much. So how can I be of help to such a beautiful looking young lady?"

Beautiful? I am I no particular way attracted to this guy but he is soo sweet.

"It was pretty great" I state ignoring his compliment.

He gives me a light smile. The atmosphere grows awkward as he begins to flick through a huge pile of C.D's. I notice he doesn't reply. After a brief silence I speak up.

"I was just.." He glances from the rack of C.D's as his eyes glaze my face. "em have you got any irish dance C.D's?"

A smile creeps onto his face soon followed by a hearty laugh. Okay so maybe I had guessed that they wouldn't, but they should isn't this a music shop after all?

"No, I'm sorry we don't" he answered through muffled laughs.

"Okay" I quickly responded what is up with this guy. He cannot control his laughter! "know anywhere that does?"

"No.. no I'm sorry love"

I turn and walk away feeling slightly upset that this guy 'Ed' is sitting still laughing at me. I take a quick look over my shoulder as he quickly try's to compose himself. I reach for the door handle and decide on where to go next.

If you guys have read this far, thank you so much!! I understand I have not updated for quite some time... but from now on it will continue to be a regular occurrence. This is just a filler. I am working on the next chapter it will be up soon as.
