"Her name is Noel
I have a dream about her
She rings my bell
I got gym class in half an hour
Oh how she rocks
In Keds and tube socks
But she doesn't know who I am
And she doesn't give a damn about me" Maya sang from the shower
"Maya shut up in trying to sleep"
She didn't respond. I got out of bed and went over to check my phone. There was a text from a number I didn't know.
*text conversation*
Unknown number- hey why do u hate me?
Me- who is this?
Unknown number- Matt. Why do I hate me?
Me- how the hell did u get my number?
Matt- maya gave it to me why do u hate me?
Me- who said I hated u?
Matt- it's freaking obvious! do u not hate me?
Me- idk do U hate me?
Matt- no I actually think you're kind of cute
*end of text conversation*
I turned off my phone. Oh my god did matt just say I'm cute! wait why do I care I don't even like matt!
"Hey what's up?" Maya said as she walked out of the bathroom
"Nothing" I just sat on my bed confused and dazed. Do I like matt? how can I possibly like matt?
"Hey are you alright?" maya said while sitting down next to me.
"Yeah I'm fine it's just...... never mind."
"Okay well if you want to talk I'm here. I'm going to go down and get some breakfast wanna come?"
"No I'm not hungry" I said while lying down on my bed. maya grabbed her shoes and room key and walked out of the room.
Maya's POV
McKay was acting really weird. I'm worried about her. I walked down to the lobby and went into the place where they had breakfast. I got my food and was looking for table but they were all full.
"Hey matt can I sit here there's no other spots" I said while approaching matts table
"Yeah"
I sat down and started eating. Right before I could say anything tall skinny boy with brown hair sat down across from me.
"Oh maya this is shawn he's also on magcon tour. Shawn this is maya I met her yesterday."
"Hi it's nice to meet" shawn said with a cute Canadian accent
"Nice to meet you"
The three of us sat in silence for about 5 minuets until matt blurted out.
"Does McKay like me?"
