Jeff had hung around with you until your shift was over, which was unusually kind of him, you thought. After you pointed that out to him, he claimed it was because you guys were good friends. Of course you believed it because you had known him since Pre-K, but you had your doubts. Now, you were watching an old monster movie. It was kind of interesting, but, it was in black and white, which meant it was boring and worthless. That's what you and Jeff had come up with in the 3rd grade watching some "Boring and Worthless" movie about old aristocrats. It had stuck with you guys and become a sort of inside joke. However, this movie was kind of interesting.

"Watching a boring and worthless movie? Tsk, tsk," someone behind you teased. You whipped around-which was quite uncomfortable considering the snuggled up position you were in-and saw Jeff standing there as the movie brightened his scarred face. The movie continued to play, causing shadows to dance across his face.

"For your information, I like this movie," you said, standing up and putting your hands on your hips.

"Of course the teacher's pet does," he teased. You rolled your eyes in minor annoyance, but a small smile still played on your lips.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Get over here," you urged, holding your arms out. Jeff walked around the sofa and gave you a giant bear hug. You squealed softly as he nearly crushed you. "Jeff! Can't breathe!" you gasped out. He released you and sat down on the white piece of furniture.

"So, what's this thing called again?"

"Uh, it's called 'The Thing'."

"Oh god. Y/N, stop."

"Stop what?" you asked as you looked up at him from under your blankets.

"You're turning into a wimp. Stop it."

"Until you can kick my butt in a fight, you can't call me a wimp," you said, sticking your tongue out at him. He laughed and you both watched the movie.

The movie ended and you muted the TV, giving Jeff a smug look.

"Well, what did you think?" you asked, readjusting yourself so you were in a more comfortable position. Jeff looked over at you with his carved smile spread wider than usual.

"I think I'm going to get a lifetime's worth of screams from that," he said before laughing.

"You dork," you said, smacking his arm. "So, was I right? Was it interesting?"

"Nope!" You gave him a questioning look. "Okay, maybe it was a little interesting," he relented.

"Told you! So, what are you doing here?" you asked, pulling the blanket up a little more.

"Well, I can't kill, so I thought I'd do something to take my mind off of it."

"You cheater!"

"We never said I couldn't!"

"Fine. So, what do you want to do now?"

"I don't know."

"Of course you don't. How could I have been so dumb?"

"Well, I know there are a couple parties we could crash," he offered slyly. You lifted your eyebrows and nodded.

"I'm in! Just, let me get dressed."

"Are you kidding?"

"I'm in my pajamas!"

"You look fine!"

"Jeff, don't argue with me." He groaned and let you run off to prepare yourself.
