Ms. Robbin has never been as boring as she is now. The mathematical language written all over the board doesn't make any sense to me, neither does her with her hazy explanations. The more she is trying to explain everything, the more I feel like I am drifting away in another dimension. As if I am here physically, but not mentally. I only stare at her, pretending I am listening, but I don't quite hear her at all. And somehow I think she knows that. I am not very fond of her class.
I am watching her. She is pretty , though I don't really like to admit it. With her ginger hair grasped in kind of a messy bun, her deep green eyes that looked like they were holding thousand of emeralds of that shade, protected by a pair of retro black glasses.
She is walking from a corner of the class to the other, gesticulating while she is speaking. It is, until now, the longest hour of my life. Every time I look at the clock it would show that it had only passed one minute. However, I knew it passed longer than this.
I don't know why I'm wasting my time on such things I find irrelevant. I could be now anywhere else spending my time so much more productively, instead, I need to be here, watching Ms. Robbin's flat butt in a very tight dress. She really is trying to look hot for some pathetic high-school students full of hormones. I can see every boy in this classroom staring at her as she passes by. I'm sure she noticed it until now. I'm also confident she likes it. Otherwise, she would have came dressed more decent.
Twenty more minutes I have to be here and listen to this foolishness. Time in which I could have been getting ready for the big party tonight. Tonight shall be the night I have been waiting for so long. I won't miss this party because of anyone. Not even because of my father who thinks he can punish me in such a horrible timing for the silliest things.
''Aaliyah, what do you think?'' asked Ms. Robbin, who was now in front of the class, right beside the board, showing everyone what was written on it.
My whole dream was broken now, being forced by mad creatures to come back to this ugly earth where I belong. Sadly.
'What do I think? I think that this class is useless. Why? I'm glad you asked! Well, it is because none of us is going to use these things later in life. I mean, let's be serious... I'm not even sure if half of the students present in this class right now will graduate. I may go someday order something at McDonald's from them. When I get in front of them with my expensive Guccies and leopard-print fur, I would be like ''Oh my God! You work here? That must be fun! I work at a supermodel agency that is totally exhausting me. We have a lot of fashion shows in different big cities, and every fashion show has an after party and when you are one of the protagonists in every show, it's a must for you to come to the party. There are some cute boys over there, I can't complain about that. But enough about me. How is your life going on? Never mind, I don't care... Can I get one salad, please?'' So yeah, it is pretty much a waste of time. You can just let us go so that we should get ready for the party.
''I don't know." I answer, instead of the long speech I have composed in my mind for her. She rolls her eyes, looking tired.
''Can't you at least try to pay attention to the class, please?'' she says to me, nodding like she was talking to a little child.
'Can't you at least try to be more decent at work?'
''I'm doing my best.'' I smile at her.
''Well, try harder!''and with that, she closes me up and she goes on with her lesson. I never hated that woman more than now. Who does she think she is?
When the class finally ends, I am free to go home. I am looking for Ali so that she should drive me home. She is always at the same spot, so she's not hard to find. Besides her locker with her boyfriend, Dylan. I am already so used to that image of her standing against the locker with Dylan beside her, every day after I come out of class.
