*Trigger warning!! Rape is implied, but not mentioned. There is a birthing scene, but I tried to make it not as gruesome as I could.*

*Setting: 1918 London in a back alley at nighttime*

Third person's POV:

Laughter, this hideous sinister laughter, I can't get it out of my mind. All I know is I have to keep running. Where do I go? Where can I turn? No matter how far I run, I feel as though I cannot get far enough away from him. I stop for a moment and catch my breath so I can think about my next move. I check all around to be sure I lost him. God how did I end up here? This was never supposed to happen. I grab my stomach and look down at the big bump protruding from my clothes. "I'm so sorry, little one. Don't worry. I am going to find someone to take great care of you. I promise you that that horrid man will never get his hands on you." I say aloud. I have always wanted children, but not like this. I mean this will be the only child I will ever have and I won't even be around to raise him or her. "Newt." I say through my sobs. Have to find Newt. Newt is my best friend, no he is more than that. Newt has always been more of a brother to me and the only family I have. I just hope he can forgive me. See, we had a falling out about two years ago and I stormed out. The next thing I knew I was stunned as I was taking a stroll to clear my head and woke up in a cell. I suppose you can probably guess what happened next. What was that? Oh god! He couldn't have found me. I mean I took every precaution to cover my trail. No matter. I cannot take any chances. Since I am too weak to walk on any farther, I have to disapparate to Newt's flat.

*Newt's flat*

I have missed this place, but I missed being inside the case with the creatures more. Oh, I forgot to mention that Newt Scamander is a self-proclaimed magizoologist. He studies magical creatures and I was his assistant before our falling out. I take a deep breath and build up my courage so I can knock. No answer. I knock again. "I'm coming. I'm coming." I hear him say on the other side of the door. He must have been in his case. All of a sudden, the door opens and I almost fall over because I am so weak. "Sky?" he asks with a mixture of relief and confusion in his voice. I want to say hello but instead I say with fear in my voice, "Help me." Newt grabs a hold of my arm with one hand and wraps his other around my waist to help me inside. "Sky, what happened?" he asks frantically. "It's a long story." I respond very out of breath. "I have time." he says with a sweet smile as he helps me over to the sofa. I always did love that smile. It made me feel safe. I proceed to tell him everything. I tell him how I was kidnapped off the street how my captor raped me for two years before I conceived a child, which is when I showed him the protruding bump under my trench coat. "How far along are you?" he asks me with his eyes wide in shock. "7 months." I state. "Newt. Do you remember how you would always hide me from my father when he would come after me?" I ask him. "Of course I do. Then I told mum and she took you in and protected you." he responds. "I need you to do that for me now. I need you to hide me. I need you to take me somewhere safe. No matter what happens, he can never get a hold of this child. all he wants from it is the power! Please Newt, save us!" I plead. "Hogwarts." he says. "Professor Dumbledore will help us. Dumbledore will keep us safe." he explains. "Newt, you can't. He will come after you too. You cannot put yourself at risk for me. I don't want you to get hurt!" I counter. "You are my best friend! I would do anything for you! I am staying will you till this child is born." he says with a smile. "Thank you, Newt. You are indeed a true friend. We will have to disapparate though. I can't go on any farther." I say. "Ok. I promise you that no one will ever harm you or this child ever. Not as long as I am breathing." he says compassionately. A little smile forms on my face, but it falls as soon as he turns to go get his case. God, I can't tell him now. He just got me back. I can't leave him now. I have to fight this.

Newt's POV:

I still can't process what has happened. After two years, the only friend who truly understands me comes to my doorstep pregnant! I can't imagine what hell she has been through these past two years. I don't want to imagine it. I help Sky off the sofa to prepare disapparate to Hogwarts. "Wait, Newt. Are you sure that Dumbledore will help us? Even after what happened with her?" Sky asks me with great concern on her face. "I'm sure. Dumbledore was the only one who fought for me after the incident. Besides, he was very fond of you if you remember." I say reassuringly. "Of course I remember. He became the father I never had." she pauses for a moment. "Ok. I'm ready." she says with a smile. I put my arm around her waist to help her stand up. I give my wand a quick wave and soon enough we are standing by the back entrance of the wizarding school. *At Hogwarts* "I thought I would never see this place again." I think aloud without a realization. Sky looks over at me with fondness in her eyes. I return the stare, but quickly look up at the door. "Right." I say giving the door a knock. We listen to the footsteps on the other side of the door till the door starts opening. The face on the other side of the door is a face that I did not expect to see. "Hello, Professor." I say. "Mr. Scamander, what have you gotten yourself into this time?" he asks with a look of concern. "Professor Dumbledore, please. We need help." I respond. "We?" He asks confused. I step aside to reveal a pregnant and scared Sky. His eye grow about five times their size when he sees her while she speaks meekly, with embarrassment keen in her voice, as she looks down at her stomach. "It's a very long story sir." "Sir, we just need a place so we can go into my case so she can have her baby. Please, professor, will you help us." I cut in to alleviate the silence. He looks back over to me with wide eyes as he jumps to a conclusion. "No. no, sir this child is not mine, but I wish it was." I say quickly to give him peace of mind. He lets out a sigh and says, "Well come in come in and tell me everything."
