He was a transfer student.
He showed up last year. Almost instantly all the girls had a crush on him. Including me. He was British. Ocean blue eyes. And his accent could seduce any girl. So he used it to his advantage. He was a hump and dump. A fuck and chuck. But I still wanted him... All for my own.
We had sex once. But I'm on birth control, so nothing happened. I was only 17... Its been a year and I still can't chuck my feelings for him.
He was gorgeous. I always catch myself day dreaming about him. His golden blond hair as he flips it to the side...
But I know this will never go anywhere. He is a city boy, from London. I have barely ever left Alabama. He told me once before: "Don't get the wrong idea. You are just another sweet sexy southern belle. Keep your ass away from me or something bad might happen, you hear me?"
That broke my heart although I had seen it coming. Landon would never settle down, would never want a southern belle like me. Like he had said.
To this day, I can't move on. I want him. I want to feel his warmth, I want him. But as my mom always had said. Put want in one hand and shit in the other see what you get first. Shit. Always shit."Dix... Dix... You day dreaming again?" Meg waved her hand in front of my face. "Get over it gurl... You mean nothing to him. You know that."
"Seriously, he needs a taste of reality. I can't watch him break all these girls hearts like he broke mine. I swear to god that boy has ruined this town." I see Landon flirting with Sierra down the hall a little ways.
"You always say you'll make him stop but you know you never do. You get all shy 'round him... When you meet the right guy, you'll know."
"I just... Just WANT him to be the right guy. He's beautiful." I stare at the muscle flex in his arms as he slams his locker door.
"Stop staring. Time for class. Your acting like a creepy stalker bitch."
"Am not!" My eyes wander over to him again. I twirl my auburn hair. Ok... Maybe I am like a stalker. I should've never gotten in bed with that bastard.
As I'm about to turn and head to class, my eyes catch something. Something kind of cute I guess. Something that looks like everyone else but I've never seen before.
A new guy. Great. Just what this school needs with all the drama going on right now. The spring play coming up. Quarter finals tomorrow. Why is he here at the end of a quarter anyway? I should go talk to him.
"Hi, are you new to Magnolia Springs?" I say as friendly as I can force out. Damn he's cute. This could be fun.
"Actually yes, I'm Jason, nice to meet you, sunshine. I just moved here from the outskirts of Huntsville."
"Sunshine?! Sorry but my name is-" he cuts me off
"Ill stick with sunshine."
"I'm Dixie! Thank you very much. And I'm only doing this cuz your new, but if you ever need anything you can ask me."
"Thanks, Dixie, but all I need is to know where Senior math is." He says very cold.
I give him a dirty look. "That's my first class too, follow me. And by the way that cockiness will get you nowhere here."
As we head to class we run into Olivia. She was so popular, but somehow also my friend. Not many people can pull that off.
"Hey Liv, what's up? This is Jason, he's new. I was just showing him to class." Liv was short and had to look up about two feet to him. He was tall though. Sexy.
"I wanted to invite you to a party at the beach tonight. Jason can come too! You'll meet lots of people there."
"Ill be there... Can you take me sunshine? I don't really know my way around this town..." Jason says.
