A/n: I TOLD Y'ALL I WAS GONNA WRITE THIS! HERE IT IS! It also sounds like they're speaking modern because I have no idea what they'd sound like in the early times, so please roll with it.

Also, the song might have had a part in this, but a small one.

Ernis's POV:

I once again began to roam the mortal world, watching the humans as they went on with their daily lives. They all looked so...boring. Doing nothing more than battling and killing as if that was all there was to this world we gave them, we created for them.

I sighed, unamused by a prostitute as she shamelessly flirted with a group of men who were sparring in a field surrounded by trees nearby a small town in the kingdom of Oskait. I could already see her trying to pickpocket them, take their money for herself. Drachmas are hard to come by these days, so I can see why she's trying to get the money. I highly doubt her skills in bed would be worth even one, though.

(A/n: BUUUUUUUUUURN!)

"Thank you Miss, but I'm sure our wives would not like us going around with other women." I heard one man say.

"What wife, Hagan? I sure as Hephri don't have one. Let's go, what's your name Miss?"

I watched the man and woman walk away and leave the group behind. Said group sighed.

"One of these days, Kees will regret all he's done to Stella when she leaves him."

     "You're right...wanna spar Hagan?"

I continued watching the group curiously. This Hagan character sounds...interesting. As I watched, I found out who 'Hagan' was. He was a brunette man with blue eyes and tan skin-most likely tanned from working all day outside-and had muscles; not the kind that are big, like the bulging kind, but the biggish-smallish ones, average sized I'd say.

I watched as Hagan and the man whose name I found out was Jack sparred. It was almost, beautiful, entrancing. It was like they were dancing with the wooden weapons as their partners, spinning them and thrusting them forward. I was, for once in all the millenia I have lived, enchanted by a human.

I followed Hagan home, wondering what his wife was like. I was surprised when I saw he entered an empty home in the middle of the woods. It was small, only two rooms. The main room had a table with chairs, a fire place, and chests that most likely held necessities, along with a shelf on the corner. The shelf held paintings and material used to paint with, so I can only assume he is an artist. The other room had a bed and a stand to hold canvases with a chair pulled up to it facing a covered window. I went back to looking at Hagan soon as I finished looking at his home. As the God of Homes, it is my duty to see if people are in bad homes or good ones.

I watched Hagan, curious of what he was doing. He smiled at a painting with the face of a woman and began to speak. "Hello, mother, I had another good day today, but I cannot say the same thing for Kees. My brother is very irresponsible, and I'm sorry for not raising him well enough after you died. I promise you that I will be a good man, I mean it Mother. I hope you are happy, and in Paraquiso." He kissed the painting and went to eat.

I watched him, keeping him company though he didn't know.

(A/n: Gods I made him sound creepy...)

He seemed tense, I bet he sensed my presence, so I left, deciding to come back tomorrow.
