Tyler's P.O.V

"I didn't know doing nothing took so long... Tyler have you been crying?" Patrick asks. I quickly try to think of an excuse.

"No... Hay fever," I reply.

"How long have you been waiting?" Josh says changing the subject. Pete checks his watch.

"About seven minutes."

"Yours were closer though," I say. Patrick shrugs.

"Fair enough." We continue walking, Josh and I still walking closer than usual to each other.

'He's going to tell someone,' it says.

'He won't,' I think to myself.

'He will, " it argues. He wouldn't, and he won't. I notice Josh looking over at me once in a while out of the corner of my eye. I look over once.

'You okay?' He mouths. I nod and smile. He smiles and puts his hand on my shoulder briefly. When he pulls out away it brushes against my arm; I'm not sure if it's accidental or not, but it makes me like him even more. Then he returns to facing forward and pretending nothing happened. He's amazing. We get given another for numbers to find, but the weather begins to turn from sun to dark, clouds. Josh looks up towards the sky

"Let's get this over with before the rain comes," he suggests.

"Agreed," I say. We start trekking towards the next spot when I feel a drop of rain on my arm. "Too late, it's already started." Patrick holds him arm out.

"Oh God," he complains.

"It's only light rain, it'll stop soon," Pete says.

"I hope so," I say. The rain continues to fall lightly as we continue our expedition. After ten minutes of walking the rain is still falling.

"Pete? What's your definition of soon?" Patrick asks. Pete rolls his eyes.

"It's just a bit of rain, deal with it. It won't kill you," Pete says. I personally don't mind the rain, but I prefer it from indoors. Right on cue however the rain begins to fall slightly heavier and becomes more evident.

"Let's go a bit faster though?" Pete suggests.

"Yeah," Patrick nods and we start jogging towards the next spot. Fifteen minutes later we've found all of the next set of numbers we need to find. Suddenly, there's a loud rumble in the sky: thunder. It's subsequently followed by a heavy downpour of rain.

"Was that thunder?" Patrick asks.

"No, it was the trees," Pete replies sarcastically.

"What's with you? You're not normally like this."

"I know, sorry."

"Let's get out of here. Being surrounded by trees isn't really the best place to be right now," Josh says.

"It's only when the lightening comes that we need to worry about that," Pete says. We sprint towards the instructors getting soaked in the rain. As we get closer to the lodge we can see other groups doing the same, including Gerard and Frank's group. We once again present our now very wet list to the instructor. Luckily, she tells us to wait inside.

"Well thank god for that," Patrick says, sounding very relieved. Four other groups are there waiting in the hallway, including Gerard and Frank's group. We go over to them.

"Well that was fun," Frank says. "I'm sure the rest of the people out there are having a really good time."

"Yeah," Pete agrees. I turn around and see Debbie and Jenna's group are also here. Debbie practically drags Jenna over towards us, well, Josh. I mean, Debbie's nice and all but she gets on my nerves at times. It's so stupid that I'm getting so jealous over a boy, because when Debbie's around Josh's attention goes to her. I think he likes her too. It's a bit sad because sometimes, very occasionally, I get the feeling that there may be the smallest chance that he likes me back. That's just me being an idiot though. As Debbie approaches Josh immediately turns to face her. For some reason I get disappointed when this happens; I don't know why. Jenna rolls her eyes at Debbie when she starts flirting with Josh.
