Tyler's P.O.V

I don't think I've ever been this excited before in my life. Mainly because I had never had an experience like this before. The engine starts and we begin our journey towards the lodge.

"Are you excited?" Josh asks.

"So excited," I reply, even though I could barely keep my eyes open since I got hardly any sleep. He nods and smiles.

"Yeah, me too. I hope we're sharing a room."

"Yeah..." I rubbed my eyes.

"You tired?"

"I'm really tired. I only got a few hours sleep last night." I don't know how I'm going to make it through the whole day without sleeping.

"I think everyone is." I looked around and noticed that almost everyone was yawning.

"Hopefully today isn't too tiring," I say.

"Yeah. Do you want to listen to some music to help keep us awake?" He pulled out his phone and headphones.

"Oh yeah that would be good, if you don't mind."

"Not at all." He untangles his headphones and hands me one.

"Thanks,"

"Is there anything you'd particularly like to listen to?"

"Nah, just play whatever you want, I just need something to keep me awake."

"OK." Luckily, we had pretty much identical music taste. Also, the music was pretty loud so it definitely kept me awake the whole journey...not that I minded it being loud; I usually listen to my music full volume anyway. After twenty minutes the bus pulls up in a small parking lot outside a relatively big lodge. It was much bigger than I expected it to be.
"Damn, it's pretty big," Josh said.
"I know. I thought it would be much smaller."
We all unboard the coach and walk up a pebbled pathway up to the entrance of lodge.
Josh's P.O.V

"Listen up everyone!" Mrs Craig announced. "If you could just wait a second before we enter, I'm going to tell you who you'll be sharing a room with." I really really hope I get to go with Tyler, or at least one of my friends but preferably Tyler.
"Room one will be Debby and Jenna." I could hear a quiet 'yesss' coming from behind me. She continued reading out the list. Neither Tyler or I had been called out yet which I guess was a good thing. Brendon and Ryan were already roommates and so were Gerard and Frank. Hayley and Melanie were staying together as well.
"Room 11 will be Josh and Tyler."
"Yes!" I say excitedly. I felt relief. At the end of her reading out the list we find out that Michael and Oli are together and so are Patrick and Pete. Basically everyone got to go with their friends. We are instructed to walk inside the building and we find ourselves in a biggish hall. We are greeting by an over friendly looking lady.
"Hi I'm Sally and I'm one of the staff looking after you here. To start off we're going to have a quick tour of the place. The tour took just over five minutes but I didn't remember where anything was. We end up back in the place we started.
"Okay, you have half an hour to get unpacked and settle in, then meet back here please. Off you go," Mrs Craig ordered. However we didn't know that the half an hour included trying to find our room. We couldn't find it and we got lost several times. Other groups were having the same problem as well. Eventually we find it. It was a pain carrying our bags up the stairs but we managed. We enter the room.
"Oh this is nice," I say.
"Yeah it is." Tyler replies. It was quite nice, kind of small but it was quite nice. I guess they did have to fit 20 rooms in; they couldn't make them too big. Since we were on the top floor, there was a skylight on our roof which was where all the light in the room was coming from. There were two small beds a few feet apart from each other with a bedside table and a lamp in between. The was a strangely large wardrobe opposite one of the beds. We decide that I will sleep in the bed opposite the wardrobe and Tyler will sleep in the other one. We start unpacking our clothes and I go to start putting them in the wardrobe.
"No way," I say in disbelief at what I saw.
"What? What is it?"  Tyler asks. He gets up and walks over to the wardrobe. "Oh my god yes!" Inside the wardrobe was a medium sized tv.
"Do you think the others have a tv?" I ask.
"I should think so."
"This is so cool!"
By the time we've completely unpacked and inspected the two rooms - the bedroom and the bathroom - we still have ten minutes of free time left. We realise we are missing something: a remote control. We both search around in the drawers in the wardrobe, the bedside table, inside and under the beds, we even checked in the bathroom but there was still no sign of a remote. We only have two minutes left now to do what we want.
"Ah, I've found it," he announces.
"Have you actually?" I say, I was genuinely worried that we weren't going to find it. For some reason it was down the back of the wardrobe. We start to head down the the main hall area. Most other groups were already there including Frank and Gerard, Brendon and Ryan and Melanie and Hayley. We go and stand by them.
"Hey, do you guys have a tv in your room?" I ask. Gerard's eyes widen.
"No, do you have one?"
"Yeah we do," I answer.
"We have one too," Melanie replies.
"That's so unfair." Frank complains.
"We don't have one either," says Ryan.
"Well did you check in the wardrobe?" I ask.
"No," Brendon and Gerard answer simultaneously.
"What? How did you NOT check in the wardrobe? Where did you put your clothes?" Hayley asks.
"On our beds, duh," Brendon replied childishly.
"Ugh, boys." Melanie jokes. "At least you two have a sense of organisation." After all the groups have arrived we are moved outside.
