[Last Name] got back on the court as it was Daichi's turn to serve, since they got the first point. Everyone got in position and Daichi did a over hand serve.
"Nice Serve!" Yelled [Last Name] as he got in a receiving position. The ball sailed over to the other side of the net. Tanaka received it with ease since it was a simple serve, and bumped it over to Kageyama.
Kageyama set the ball to Hinata who smacked the ball really fast and without his eyes open, performing their quick combo. The sound of the ball hit the floor caused surprise in the American boy's usual dead eyes.
No way that's was way too fast...
The [Hair Colour] haired male smirked. He was going to get the next one, after seeing this he knew how this will work. He wasn't the captain of his old team and the youth representative of America for nothing.
The aura around [Last Name]'s side of the net got tense and let's just say strange. Hinata, Kageyama and Tanaka all shivered.
"Don't worry we will get the next I one!" [Last Name] screeched confidently to his teammates.
It's was Hinata's turn to serve oh boy... thought everyone except the [Eye Colour] eyed teen. Hinata was nervous he didn't want to embarrass himself in front of [Last Name], but he had no choice.
The little munchkin held his hand up and threw the ball on the air, smacking it doing a overhand serve.
Now. The ball went over the net slowly. No one moves. Why isn't anyone moving not even on Daichi-san's team? Hinata thought.
The ball went out of bounds. "Are his serves normally like that? Like he chokes up on himself?" [Last Name] asked Mom- I mean Sugawara.
They all nodded and [Last Name] sweatdropped.
It was [Last Name]'s turn to serve. With a serious face he got in his jumping serve position.
Tanaka and Hinata tensed.
"It's the eagles claw serve..." Hinata gaped to no one in particular.
"What's that? The 'eagles claw' serve?" Tanaka asked whispering to Hinata.
"Wait you know who he is but you never heard of the serve?!"
"Well no because I never seen him move on court!" Tanaka countered "just answer the question Hinata!"
Hinata looked at the boy "they say that when a eagle dives you can barely see it, and it's claws are out. Of course the claws are sharp so when [First Name] serves it will will make a very sharp turn and you can't see it."
"Oi! He's about to ser-" Kageyama stopped midway when hearing the sound of the ball drop on their side.
"Don't get me wrong I like the commentary but you shouldn't be distracted when the ball is in play" the American snapped.
The males gulped as the other smirked.
Team Mommy and Daddy: 3
Team Milk Carton: 1
It was still [Last Name]'s turn to serve and he did a jump float serve, it was simple but still tricky.
Tanaka slid to save the ball and just narrowly missed it. Point [Last Name]. The [Eye Colour] eyed male did another jump float but , Tanaka – diving for it again- got the ball into the air.
Tanaka cheered. It's time! This is their chance! Kageyama set the ball to Hinata, the orange haired male smacking it blindly.
He opened his eyes seeing the [Hair Colour-ette] males face in front of his. Face stoic and bored, the American stuck a finger in his ear, "Man~ are those the only spikes you can do? I can read you like a book."
He blocked their fast attack. It only took one try, and he already knew how to block it.
"Sugoi~" Hinata gaped once again, as the other walked back into receiving position, it was Suga's turn to serve.
Kageyama clicked his tongue and clenched his hand how could he have figured it out already it's only been our second time doing the move and he already blocked it. But what's worse... the blacked haired teen looked at the [Hair Colour] haired male who made eye contact with him. I couldn't even see him.
On and off the court you could see two images of a Bold Eagle and a black Crow clashing, beaks and talons out.
Daichi smacked the back of the foreign exchange student's back, congratulating him. Hinata was still gawking over him and Tanaka was laughing at how 'stupid' the orange hated shorty was being .
At the end the game was 24:9, in favor of [Last Name]'s team.
But the only way Kageyama's team got the points were when the serves were out of bounds or when they revived the ball and it went out/ in the net.
