That day Newt woke up earlier than he usually did. He got up and looked at the window. Raindrops were falling down hardly. He looked outside. The sky was grey and rain was falling harshly. It was May 20th, it shouldn't be raining! We're in Britain after all Newt thought to himself.

Dressing up his Hufflepuff's uniform, he silently went downstairs to the common room, trying not to wake up his colleagues. Placing on a chair an old book he had gotten from the library and his school notebook, Newt lighted up the fireplace - it was also strangely cold. Sitting on the chair, he started writing down topics for his next and last Herbology work of the year.

Focusing on his work, Newt only realized how time had gone by when he heard his colleagues upstairs.

"Have you seen the rain outside?", "Odd, it wasn't supposed to rain today!", "And it's cold! Really cold!".

"No, no, no, no, no!" Selin, an Hufflepuff, shook her head in disapproval "You will probably think I'm crazy but something bad will happen. Weather like this out of no one is just an omen. Something bad will happen!".

"You are right, Selin-" Finnick said during breakfast "We totally think you're crazy!".

"I'm telling you guys, something isn't right. Or someone isn't happy!" Selin insisted, taking a sip of her tea and looking around, trying to find someone who agreed with her.

"Whatever Selin." Christine arrogantly said, biting her muffin "I'm sad that we're no longer having Defence Against the Dark Arts outside like planned. I was looking forward to duel in the open air."

"Why? So you'd end up throwing yourself in the lake?" Victor laughed. Christine's wand skills were well known among the students and many jokes were made about it.

The Hufflepuff's conversation changed from the rain to who had the better wand skills. Only Newt kept himself apart from both topics. He'd occasionally look at his colleagues or laugh, but generally wasn't paying much attention.

After breakfast, Newt Scamander rushed towards the third floor. He had hidden some food on his uniform for Norbert. Opening the door of the unused storage, Newt entered. He was so used to doing that every single day, that he was no longer as careful as he used to be. So, he didn't notice a tall boy following him.

Edmund Scrout had been keeping an eye on Newt for quite a while, ever since their confrontation at the Quidditch game. He saw the boy, three/four times a day, rush towards the third floor and entering an abandoned storage. Edmund couldn't quite figure out what drove Newt to go to such place so often.

I knew he was up to something! the Slytherin boy thought to himself, Whatever it is, I'll made sure to ruin his plans! I'll expose him to the entire school.

By May 18th, Edmund decided to take his spying further. Seeing the storage door closing, the boy rushed towards it and looked through the keyhole. The room didn't have much more than some empty shelves, but then he noticed the briefcase. Looking more carefully, he noticed Newt walking towards the object and opening it. One leg, then the other, Edmund was shocked seeing Newt entering the briefcase, and then disappearing.

What are you hidding, Scamander? I don't know, but I will find out! Edmund swore, walking away from the door.

"So Selin thinks it's an omen that something bad will happen?" Elizabeth chuckled, observing the rain through the window "She is a really sweet girl but I must admit she can be quite a lunatic sometimes!".

Newt chuckled, changing the page of his Daily Prophet. Everyday professor Murchett had an owl delivering to him the newspaper, and when he was done reading, he'd have someone give it to Newt who was quite a fan of knowing what was happening outside of Hogwarts.

"May 20th." Newt read on the front page "Nothing interesting happened - apart from the fact the owner of CandyBrandy made a giant chocolate frog!".

"Brandy Miles made a giant chocolate frog? How cool!" Elizabeth exclaimed, taking the Newspaper from Newt's hands "I have always been a fan of her store. I make sure to buy some candies there whenever I visit Hogsmeade!".

Newt laughed "I hate to be the one ruining your time with the newspaper, but Defence Against the Dark Arts is about to start and professor Kruple hates when students are late!".

"You're right." Elizabeth sadly agreed, putting the newspaper away.

Haven't posted in a while (although I don't think you noticed my absence). Anyway, hope you enjoy this and I'll make sure to continue posting because honestly, I really enjoy writing this!

FACT #7: Each of the actors got to design their wands. // Author's note: Poor Eddie! That's why he was so upset when Daniel Radcliffe said he didn't like Newt Scamander's wand. Haha.
