Imagine~ Kai going on a rampage and nearly killing you and then begging for your forgiveness.

Word Count: 1338

Chaos surrounded you, screams of your friends and loved ones. All of this chaos because of one boy, a boy you'd learned to love.

What you didn't know was that these feelings were mutual, Kai had slowly fallen in love with you. Never wanting to hurt you, physically or emotionally. But in this state you were unsure if he could stop himself.

You slowly crawled along the floor, a shard of glass digging into your abdomen. Kai had shattered everything in his path, showering you and others with large shards of glass.

Large screams echoed through the room as the footsteps of the heretic growing closer to where you were. You held your breath, desperately trying to hold in your sobs; a few slipping away.

Tears streamed down your face as you saw your friends lying lifelessly on the floor. None of them were dead, yet. More like Kai had knocked them all out, leaving only a few awake.

"So who's awake? Because if you come out now I might just spare you." Kai said in a childlike tone. You could tell he was lying, all he wanted was to hear the agonosing screams of his victims.

You glanced around the room, seeing him step over your friends as if they were nothing. This wasn't the boy you had feelings for, and as his humanity slipped away so did your feelings for him.

At this point he meant nothing to you, you couldn't love somebody who was so evil. Even if everything inside you wanted to, you couldn't allow yourself. Not right now.

Kai approached the table you were hidden under making your sobs even harder to contain. His footsteps stopped right in front of you making your breathing slow and your heart race.

You backed away slowly in a failed attempt to distance yourself from him.

His hands slid under the table as he pushed it up leaving you sitting on the floor, no protection. No place to hide.

"What do we have here?" Kai said as your head sat between your knees.

Kai had no idea you were here, he thought you were at home because that's what you'd told him. You didn't know why you lied but if he knew you were here, he'd know your friends were; and you didn't trust him not to hurt them.

Which meant you were right, he couldn't be trusted. But he figured out your plan, just not the bit you were actually lying about.

You slowly raised your head, your eyes meeting his deep blue ones. You couldn't deny you were scared in this moment, Kai was ruthless willing to do whatever it takes to prove a point.

"Y/N." he whispered, his face fell when he saw the fear in your face, and he knew he'd caused it, he loved you. As much as he hated to admit it, he did and it killed him knowing he hurt you.

"Get away from me." you mumbled, sobs choking up your throat as tears continued to spill.

'This isn't him. This isn't him.' was all you could think. Because if it was you would've had to accept the fact you fell in love with a maniac, and you couldn't bring yourself to do that.

Kai stood there frozen, unsure what to do in this moment. The girl he'd fallen in love with was sitting in front of him crying in fear, fear of him.

You stood up limping to the door as fast as you could, leaving Kai stunned in his position. You could feel blood oozing out of you and you began to feel light headed.

And then everything went black.

Gripping your head you sat up, your head felt like somebody had smashed it with a hammer leaving you in pain.

You looked around, your vision blurry as you tried to remember what'd happened.

Then it hit you, you remembered everything. The way Kai had nearly killed you and everyone you loved. You also remember collapsing and that you had a large shard of glass in your abdomen.

You looked down to see yourself bandaged up, messily but still bandaged up all the same. The light from the window only added to your pounding headache. You had no idea where you were, this wasn't the Salvatore house or any other house you'd been in.

As your eyes traveled the room you saw Kai sitting on the seat next to where you were lying. His head was drooped into his hands, he was clearly not aware you were awake.

"Kai?" you groaned softly, it coming out more hoarse than imagined.

His head shot up, you could see in his face he hadn't slept. His eyes were bloodshot and puffy with dark circles. His hair was scruffy and he was still in the clothes he was wearing when you'd last seen him.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry Y/N. Please don't be scared." he said as he looked at you with guilt coating his eyes.

"Why?" was all you could muster. He looked nearly as much as a wreck you did.

"Because, you." he whispered, confusion washed over your body but so did anger. How was any of this your fault? He nearly killed you, how is that in anyway your fault.

"One of your friends told me I was too good for you, which is true but I didn't want to believe it. I didn't want to believe that somebody deserved you more than I did. Because frankly I can't even think that somebody else would love you more than I do." he said.

But he wasn't finished, "So I lashed out, I didn't want to hurt you. I should've toughened up and understood that I was bad for you, but instead I exploded. In anger. In hurt. In all of these emotions I didn't even know I had."

Tears brimmed your eyes, but you didn't know if you could forgive him just yet. He hurt people you loved because he was angry and that's not easy to forgive.

"Kai, that's no excuse." you whispered, hoping he wouldn't lash out again.

"I know." he mumbled. "But I'm going to try to make it up to you. I started when I brought you back, got you changed, bandaged you. All of that." he said hoping that would be enough for forgiveness.

You glanced down at your body to see one of Kai's t-shirts hanging loosely over your body. "So you saw me naked? Don't think that's the best way to say sorry." you giggled.

Everything within you was telling you to stay serious and you knew Kai had a lot of making up to do. But you could tell he wasn't good with emotions and even though he'd hurt you, you didn't want him lashing out if you said no.

So in your mind the only thing you could do was make him feel more neutral, hoping that would stop any more havoc if you rejected him like your mind was telling you to.

"Yes. But I didn't do anything I promise. And I didn't see you actually naked, you were wearing underwear and everything. It's just-" Kai ranted as you interrupted him.

"I'm joking." you chuckled as his face flooded with relief.

"Thank god." he said as he regained color to his face. "Does that mean I'm forgiven?"

"Hell no. You've got a whole lot more to do than that. First things first, I want you to say sorry to everyone you hurt last night." you said, looking at the vulnerable man in front of you.

"Consider it done." he said, his eyes growing brighter by the second.

"And second, can you get me some aspirin. My heads pounding." you sighed grasping your head.

Kai shot up running into the kitchen leaving you chuckling lightly.

The big bad Kai brought down by you. Not many people can say that.
