a/n: in this imagine Kai never got sent to the prison world because I had a good idea but it had to involve Kai being in the home. Ok :)

Imagine: You and Kai being in a secret relationship whilst you're best friends with Liv.

You left three large knocks on the oak wood door before your best friend, Liv, swung the door open, engulfing you in a hug.

"You ready for some studying?" you said playfully as you stood in the door way.

"I wish we could be doing anything else, but whatever." she groaned before giving you a grin as she walked into the home.

You followed closely behind her walking in to the kitchen, setting your books down on the breakfast bar.

As soon as you did footsteps approached the kitchen but you brushed it off, assuming it was Luke.

"Looking good Y/N." Kai said making your head snap up to look at him.

You and Kai had been dating for a while now but neither of you had told anyone since Liv was your best friend and it would make it really awkward.

"Kai, lay off my friends." Liv groaned, sitting down on the stool next to you. A small smirk appeared on Kai's face as he grabbed a soda from the fridge but luckily Liv never saw it.

Just as you'd began to start studying Liv's phone started ringing and she quickly excused herself mumbling about how it was Tyler and it might be an emergency.

Leaving you and Kai alone in the kitchen, Liv's voice getting more distant as she walked down the hall.

Kai turned smirking to you as you tried to continue studying, acknowledging the fact that Liv was nearby.

He wrapped his arms around your waist and you could feel his breath on your neck making your breath hitch in your throat.

"Kai, not now. Liv's down the hall." you whispered, nervous that Liv could walk in seeing the both of you like this.

"Am I not allowed to show my girlfriend some affection?" he gasped, acting hurt making you let out a small giggle.

"If she walks in with your arms wrapped around me she'll beat the life out of both of us." you giggled as you glanced down at Kai who had pushed his chin into the crook of your neck.

Liv's footsteps quickly approached the kitchen and Kai detached himself from you, sitting in the stool Liv sat on pretending to help you study.

"Um, hey I've gotta go. Something happened with Tyler. Feel free to stay as long as you want. See you later babes." she said quickly wrapping one arm around you as she headed for the door, not even acknowledging her brother.

"See you later to sissy." Kai mumbled making you giggle. "So how may I help you with studying, Liv's little friend?"

He grinned at you widely before you pecked him on the lips only making him grin even wider.

"Liv's little friend?" you said cocking an eyebrow making him chuckle. "Mhm. Because that's all we are to each other. Right?" Kai said grinning.

"Right.. So you kiss all of Liv's friends?" you said, your eyebrow remaining cocked.

"Only the pretty ones." Kai laughed before pressing his lips against yours once again.

The kiss was like any other kiss but it felt so much more rebellious in a home in which your best friend could walk in at any moment.

"I leave you alone with my best friend for 5 minutes and you've already got your tongue down her throat." you heard a voice say making you both spin around to see Liv standing in the door way.

"I-I..." you trailed off making Kai step in. "Don't blame her, that was all me." he said, smirking to his sister.

Liv simply rolled her eyes, grabbing her jacket off the counter which she must've forgot.
"Whatever, just not in front of me."

And with that she walked out of the house, letting the door slam behind her. As soon as she was gone Kai erupted into a fit of laughter whilst you just sat there astounded by the event.

"At least we don't have to hide it anymore." Kai said, a smirk creeping on his face. "We also have the whole house to ourselves."
