Imagine~ your a witch and you're stuck in the prison world with Kai, but he doesn't know you have powers.

Word Count: 1617

Kai constantly threatened you, always making sure you would do what he wanted you to do. But he'd never actually come anywhere near to actually hurting you. Until now.

You were currently arguing with Kai as per usual, but today was different, he was angrier than usual.

So when he took a step towards you, you actually thought he might hurt you.

"DON'T MAKE ME HURT YOU!" Kai shouted in your face, clearly trying to intimidate you. But he couldn't hurt you, even if he tried.

"You can't." you whispered sarcastically. "Watch me." he said as he approached you.

" Phasmatos Incendia." you said quietly as a circle of fire separated you and Kai.

"W-What. That's impossible, your not a witch." he stammered realizing in this ring of fire he couldn't siphon your magic.

"You thought wrong." you smirked, looking at the once over-confident boy being in your control.

"How could you hide this from me." he whispered, anger lacing his voice.

"Easy, I didn't practice whilst I was here. I knew if I told you, you would siphon it immediately. So it was an easy decision to not tell you." you confidently replied.

You looked at the angry boy in front of you, it was comforting knowing he couldn't touch you. You could see drops of sweat forming on his forehead from the heat of the fire.

"Why did you choose now to show me your magic?" he said as his eyes softened.

"Because I don't trust you not to hurt me. You killed your whole family with no regrets, what's stopping you from doing the same to me." you reply.

You saw how Kai's eyes changed, the fire that had once filled his gray eyes subsided and was replaced with guilt.

"I would never hurt you." he choked out. He was a sociopath, he couldn't be serious could he?

"I don't believe you." you said to him, he looked as if he could cry and you felt kind of guilty for saying it.

"Why would I kill the only other person on this earth? Why would I want to be alone for the rest of my life? In what world does that make sense? Put out the fire and I'll prove it to you." he croaked out, his eyes looking deep into yours.

You swiped your hand over the fire as it quickly diminished. He stood up and slowly took some steps towards you causing you to back away.

"Don't be scared." he said as he continued to walk towards you.

After what felt like forever he was towering over your small frame.

He was looking deep into your eyes as you ran your eyes over his features. You'd never noticed how prominent his jawline was, his plump pink lips, his grey eyes that had flickers of blue.

You'd never had the chance to see him like this, you'd always try to keep your distance from him in fear he'd hurt you. But it didn't feel like that right now.

Usually you felt like he had power over you, which he didn't, but he believed it and that was enough to scare you.

But right now you felt equal, like he wouldn't hurt you and you wouldn't hurt him. Even though you had power over him right now you didn't feel like you needed it. And in his ways he had power over you.
