Heaven to Hell

The Beginning

Charlie P.O.V

    She tensed up, and started to prepare for what she knew was going to happen.
She began to crouch she some how knew that she wouldn't be able to fight him off for long she would have to make a run for it. She began to count down from 10 mentally and physically preparing her self for a fight
   "3....2....1"
    And just like that she went off running through the forest. The wind whipped against her hair and howled in her ears as she sprinted as fast as she could from Damon. Her magnificent  eyes caught everything, the shadows that hid from the sun's light among the trees and the singing of a beautiful birds in a tree a few feet away. Charlie came a sudden halt and slowly she turned around to see if she had gotten away and to her surprise Damon wasn't behind her, she slowly cocked her head to the side as she realized that while she was running she hadn't heard him behind her at all?
   "Surprised are we?"
    Charlie's stomach was clutched with terror as she turned around to face Damon. He was leaning against a tree a wide grin that showed all his perfect white teeth.
   "You don't really think it would be that easy did you? Honestly I expected a little more, especially with what you are known for."
    "Well I don't like to dwell on the past!"
    Charlie looked down at her feet, she couldn't let old memories get in the way of her focusing. Then there was a woosh, she expected Damon to come at her with her being all vulnerable, she expected him to knock her out or tackle her. She waited, but nothing happened. Slowly she lifted her gaze to find Damon completely out of sight.

Damon P.O.V

    He looked down at Charlie from the tree he sat in. She was very confused he could tell, she had probably expected him to attack her, he had even expected him to take his chance but he didn't and this frightening him.
  What was he doing he barley knew the girl! He was about to ruin everything he and his family had built just for Charlie, a girl he was sent to kill. He shook his head.
   "No, Damon you cannot let this opportunity slip through your fingers. There is to much at stake."
   But as he told himself these words he allready  knew in his heart he wouldn't be able to do what he was sent here to do.
